The secret garden of the Musée d'Orsay, open only during the holidays
I previously wrote about my failed attempt during my first visit to the Musée d'Orsay.
Since then, I've looked into the Musée d'Orsay more and discovered it's actually a kid-friendly museum that offers many interesting programs! It seems that during school holidays, the grand hall on the second floor transforms into a children's studio space. Will I be able to redeem my previous disastrous experience at the Musée d'Orsay by signing up for a workshop?
This children's studio space is incredibly spacious, so there's no need for reservations or waiting. If you go there, they let you in right away. Like the kids' area at the Musée de l'Orangerie, it's only open to families with children. But the scale is on a completely different level! It's wonderful to see the contrast between the children running around and drawing amidst the anachronistically opulent interior.
Art supplies are available for unlimited use, so you could play there forever. There are also toys for younger children, so I'll have to bring 2-chan along next time.
However, it was hard to get them to leave because they were possessed by the 'I don't want to go home' ghost.
