Another happy moment in my note notifications
Yesterday, a happy notification popped up in my note inbox.
The creator Magu-san had added my article to their magazine.
“Wow, how wonderful!”
Filled with gratitude, I visited Magu-san’s page and encountered an article overflowing with passion about their experience.
It was this article here ↓
To join the Zoom session, Magu-san dashed to their car right after work. They were frantically operating Zoom while eating a rice ball, and for a split second, their face accidentally appeared on camera.
I could picture the frantic scene so clearly that I found myself feeling nervous right along with them. But what left an even stronger impression was
the feeling that they were “so glad they participated,” which radiated from the entire article.
“What kind of Zoom session could be so good that it warrants such praise?”
Curious, I went to read the original recruitment article. It was this one by Hitotarao-san.
The first thing that caught my eye when I opened the recruitment post was the phrase, “No cameras on for anyone.”
“Ah, so that’s why Magu-san was in such a rush,” I realized, and I couldn't help but chuckle.
I didn’t actually participate in the Zoom session myself, so I don’t know the details of the discussion.
However, as I read on, what drew me in wasn't the recruitment content itself, but the personality that shone through every line of the writing.
There was a desire to support beginners, carefully written instructions to ensure participants felt at ease, and a touch of humor even within the serious explanations.
While reading such text,
I felt, “This is someone who truly cares about their participants.”
Then, I thought back to Magu-san’s article once more.
“A voice more gentlemanly and calm than I imagined.”
“They repeatedly asked the participants, ‘Is everything okay up to this point?’”
Those impressions overlapped with the feeling I got from the recruitment article,
and I found myself deeply convinced, thinking, “I see, that’s why they were so moved.”
By then, the feeling of “I wish I had known about this so I could have joined too” had grown quite strong.
I visited a page to express my thanks, encountered one article, and that article led me to another.
And through these articles, the personality of someone I knew felt a little closer than before. Perhaps such unexpected events are one of the joys of note.
Magu-san, thank you for the encounter with such a wonderful article.
