Reflecting on note: 'One Year Since My First Post'

Yesterday marked exactly one year ago.
I posted my very first article.

At first, nobody read it at all, and I felt like throwing my phone.
I managed to hang in there, though...

I never imagined that note would becomethis much fun.

Yeah, I'm having a lot of fun right now.

And,

I've been absorbed in this for the past year.

To everyone who has been kind to me, thank you!

Since this is a milestone,
I've decided to write an article about my 'reflections' from the past year and 'what's next'.

Reflections

Starting note

Actually, the trigger was that I was 'forced by necessity'.

As a web writer, I enrolled in a writing school to improve my skills.
Since note was one of the assignments, I started it to practice beforehand.

This is my first article, which was clumsy and
took a very, very long time to write. ⇓

Anyway, I thought about it a lot and wrote it!
It was my first article, after all. I wanted people to think it was interesting.

But, it wasn'tread at all...

At this rate,

It was the worst start;

Getting hooked on note

Stuck in that dead end, I struggled with note every day.

Why?

My competitive spirit was ignited, and I tried everything to figure out how to get views.
I experimented constantly.

It was pure stubbornness by then.

Here is what I tried...

I couldn't stop experimenting, so I posted a second article.
(There's no way to verify anything with just one article;)

I thought about it a lot, really.

It would be too long to write out the results, so I'll skip that, but
I really tried so many things. Yes.

After all that chaos, before I knew it, I was a captive of note.

...?
What did I get hooked on? Well, you see.

Even though I'm a writer, it's not about how to write;

I just wanted people to read my articles at the very least.
I was only thinking about settings and appearance.

It's 'twice' as fun when people read them!

I was on note whenever I had a spare moment.
Gradually, it started leading to results.

With my fourth article, I felt the response that it had reached many people.

I think this is what you calla sense of achievement.

But!
I may be talking about 10,000 views, but that number itself isn't the point that makes me happy.

That's what made me happy♪

Even though it was an article that almost got buried after just a few people took a quick look.

Once people started reading it,writing articles became funtoo.

I think there are many note users whose goal isn't views or likes.
But,

This is the one thing I really wanted to convey.

From now on

Testing things was so fun that, honestly, I put 'writing' on the back burner. I was posting articles prioritizing 'experimenting' over what I actually wanted to write.

I've reflected the results of my experiments in e-books, courses, and paid articles, so that's one milestone down!

From now on...

I'll probably still do the experiments I love; but I want to be true to my feelings each day.


I want to cherish note as a place where I can be my authentic self.

I might be posting a wider variety of articles than before, but I would be happy if we could continue to be friends.
