As shown in the picture above, silver mine ore is crushed into powder and washed in water. It is like the board washing of gold mines. However, the mesh is not used for water washing; it is burned directly in a kiln.
The method of washing is to draw water into a half-cut tub, put the essential ore into a bowl, and wash it with water; the soil and stones all fall into the water in the half-cut tub, and the rest remains in the bowl. It is mostly the same as the board washing of gold mines.
※ Although the table of contents in the National Diet Library Digital Collection says "Ginzan Tohō no E," I have read it here as "Ginzan Kaneyuri no E."
