Stay Just As You Are
[I wrote a poem about what I felt at the book club]
You
thought you were all alone
that is why you always looked so lonely
However
you found your roots
and were able to
reset your state of mind
"I want to die"
expresses "I want to live"
It is not that you dislike yourself
you just want to get closer to your ideal self
and you just want to reset
But in real life
once you reset
everything comes to an end
That reset button
must never be pressed
You are fine
just as you are
I want you to stay
just as you are
Because loving yourself as you are
is the starting point
I have linked to some wonderful music by Yukie Nishimura. And I used a lovely illustration by hoho. The color of the heart doesn't have to be red or pink, does it? I think it's fine if it reflects your state of mind at the time, and whatever color it is, as long as it is true to yourself. How about you?
