Releasing Attachment: Emotions Are Your Allies

I was sad...
I was lonely...
I was frustrated...
Do not blame these lingering emotions

Even when you think you have forgotten,
there are events that suddenly come to mind.
Those words,
that silence,
that atmosphere,
the one thing said to you,
the words you couldn't convey,
the emotions you left behind,
for some reason, like a thorn in your heart,
they remain stuck,
and every time you gently touch them,
the pain returns.

"It's already over,"
"You're worrying too much."
Even if you tell yourself things like that,
the emotions that won't disappear
are dwelling deep within your chest...

But those emotions
are not there
to trouble you,
they might be "a voice that still wanted to be heard."

Even though your head knows
that it is "something in the past,"
only your heart
remains left behind.

Do you ever
blame yourself for that?

But you know,
it is not because your heart is weak,
but because "feelings that haven't been fully felt yet"
are still remaining there.

At the time, you endured it,
and you didn't even allow yourself
to feel it properly.

those emotions keep appearing again and again.

force yourself to forget.
What is important is

You cannot change the past,
but by embracing the past,
you can release your attachment,

to protect you.
