Parenting Diary: Major Update Release

The title doesn't really sound like a parenting diary... but I couldn't think of anything else, so it can't be helped.

It seems my child had a major update the other day.

I once saw on X (formerly Twitter) that when a baby cries and cries and won't stop at night, it's because they are going through a major update.

The other day, there was a time when my child wouldn't stop crying no matter what I did. The contents of this crying fit update seem to be:
・An increase in the variety of cooing (making sounds like 'ah' or 'oo')
・A new way of crying added for when their diaper is dirty
It seems to be these two points.

In particular, I was surprised that a new way of crying for a dirty diaper was added.
Until now, no matter how dirty my child's diaper was, they wouldn't cry unless they were hungry.
It seems they have mastered a different way of crying than when they are hungry, making it easier to tell when they want their diaper changed.
I felt their growth in this and was moved.

There will be more major updates in the future, and while it's tough to think they will cry their eyes out every time, I feel like I can get through it if I think of it as a major update.
