Teachers from Jeonbuk Mechanical Technical High School in South Korea visited MOBIO!
The first visit of 2026 was from teachers at one of the four national mechanical technical high schools in South Korea.
The principal smiled and placed a sticker, saying, "I'm looking forward to seeing the technologies and products of Osaka's manufacturing companies!" and the tour began!

At the booth of Namitei, the only company in Japan that manufactures shaped wires for protecting optical fibers for submarine cables, the dimensional accuracy per 1 km is as strict as 1/10.
Moreover, when we explained that they have a track record of laying 400,000 km—enough to circle the Earth 10 times—while preventing water pressure and damage from shark bites, there were exclamations of surprise.

At the booth of Nishido Lighting, which manufactures and sells the Tretera series of adhesive insect traps, we explained the mechanism of attracting and capturing insects using black light and photocatalyst-generating cubes, how they can be installed in clean rooms to further improve quality, and that they are suitable for both commercial and home use.
Seeing the Tretera for bed bugs, someone commented, "This can also be used in rooms with ondol (*)!"
It seems that the problem of pests is the same in every country.

At the Muromoto Tekko booth, they first experienced the sharpness of a straight-blade cutter made of "Damascus steel."
Next, they tried out a wire stripper machine that can quickly and cleanly strip the insulation from both thick (3φ) and thin (0.5φ) cables, and they were wide-eyed with amazement, saying, "It's amazing how it cuts and peels only the resin cover so cleanly!"

At the booth of Sanki Seisakusho, which manufactures small-diameter hexagonal hole processing and custom-made bit drivers, they inserted non-magnetic resin and stainless steel hexagonal bolts and nuts into their respective drivers and experienced how they didn't fall off even when shaken.
When we answered their question, "Why don't they fall off?", they were convinced, saying, "I see" and "This technique is amazing!"

At the booth of Morita Seishinsho, which is showcasing its superb skills in this month's "Top Pick Exhibition," they looked at processed products such as ultra-fine stainless steel pipes that have been swaged, drilled, and bent, and questions flew back and forth, such as "What is the smallest diameter you can process?" and "Where are these used?"

At the booth of SGK, which performs etching on long and ultra-fine objects, they picked up a long speaker cover and commented, "There really are no burrs!"
When we further explained the processing steps, they were impressed, saying, "This technical capability is amazing."
With a renewed determination to convey the superb skills of Osaka's manufacturing companies to their students, they headed to their next destination with the customary, energetic shout of "MOBIO!"

Thank you for visiting us!
