My power spot is Koshien ⚾️
I am going to Koshien now.
For me, Koshien is
not just a sacred place for high school baseball.
Actually, it is the place that saved me.
A few years ago,
I was in a major accident.
My body hurt in so many places, and
every time I woke up in the morning, I would think, 'Where will it hurt today?'
That was all I could think about.
Osteopathic clinics.
Acupuncture.
Massage.
Supplements.
I tried absolutely everything.
I spent a lot of money and time.
Even so, I didn't return to my full self.
'Am I going to be like this for the rest of my life?'
Honestly, there were days when I thought just that.
At that time,
my daughter invited me.
'Let's go to Koshien!'
Honestly, I was nothing but anxious.
Long travel time.
Unfamiliar places.
Crowds.
Can I go with a body like this?
What if the pain gets worse again?
But,
looking at my daughter's face,
I thought, 'Maybe I'll give it a try.'
The day of.
The moment I sat in the stands,
I was enveloped by the sweltering heat and the loud cheers 📣🎶
And then,
I saw the players standing on the field.
With faces that still held a touch of innocence,
yet they were chasing the white ball with all their might.
With every single pitch,
they were giving it their all.
A player who made an error
was encouraged by their teammates,
and looked forward once again.
Seeing that,
I realized my heart was burning with emotion 🥹
The pain,
I had forgotten all about it before I knew it.
It sounds like a lie, though. Haha
Since then,
I started feeling better and better.
Of course,
I don't think it's as simple as saying I got better just because I went to Koshien.
But,
I think the time spent "being truly absorbed in something"
helped to slowly loosen up my tense heart and body 🌱
Now,
it is my personal power spot ✨
Today,
I'm heading to that place again 😃💕
From the earnest efforts of the high school baseball players,
I feel like I'll surely receive something again this year.
Pain and anxiety,
in the face of something you can be passionate about,
become surprisingly small.
That is something
I am taught every year.
Well then, I'm off 😆
