Ehrgeiz for Tenor Horn and German Bariton (#Makabe's Ambition Duet Collection Vol. 1) Sales Page
Introduction
Thank you for your interest in this collection.
I am Daisuke Makabe, the supervisor.
I would like to introduce it so that even those meeting me for the first time can understand.
Content Introduction
(1) Purpose of the collection
It was created with the goal of increasing the recognition of the 'Tenor Horn' and 'German Bariton', which are euphoniums in the German-speaking world, and providing sheet music that fosters the ability to think when performing, specialized for small ensemble.
(2) Features of the collection
It contains 13 original pieces by 9 composers active in various genres.
The biggest feature is that all expression marks have been removed from the sheet music. The intention behind this is for performers to enjoy playing while thinking and exchanging opinions with each other, without being led by anyone.

In the past, when work was scarce, he worked on incidental music for small theaters and film screenings, but he insists on the stance of being an arranger, so he currently does not accept composition work unless it is for incidental music.
(5) List of Compatible Instruments
In response to requests from those who want to play with instruments other than the euphonium used in German-speaking countries, and because the appropriate sheet music differs depending on the instrument used, we asked the collection's composer, 'Miduki Kondo', to create an appropriateness table based on the 'range originally intended for the instrument'.
As will be explained in the appendix booklet section, since the sheet music is based on the assumption that it will be played by a euphonium in a German-speaking country, technical skill may be required depending on the instrument used.
Therefore, please use this appropriateness table only as a reference for your purchase.

Series Introduction
Main Volume (Treble Clef in Bb & Bass Clef in C)

While euphonium sheet music is often standardized as Treble Clef in Bb (T.C.) in German-speaking countries, Bass Clef in C (B.C.) is generally used in Japanese wind bands, so we have prepared versions for both. (The content is the same.)
The ring-bound notebook is easy to open, and the sheet music is laid out as a spread so that it is easy for two people to see at the same time. In addition, the warm-toned cover and illustrations by illustrator 'Yuki Natsuo' attract the viewer.
※There are corrections for the Treble Clef in Bb version. Please check the following article before use. (Correction notices are also included in the music collection.)
Appendix Booklet
Produced in response to numerous requests.Only available for purchase in conjunction with the main volume.
The content consists of the sheet music only, with some pages removed from the main volume.
The booklet is printed in black and white on standard copy paper and is saddle-stitched.
Also, for both versions, please understand that since the sheet music is based on the assumption that it will be played by a euphonium in a German-speaking country, issues regarding range may occur.
・Treble Clef in C

Produced mainly in response to requests saying 'I want to participate by singing!'.
The range is low, but I think it can be handled by raising it an octave.
・Treble Clef in F

Unlike the other versions, High and Low versions are prepared depending on the piece, and the range has been adjusted mainly for horn players. Therefore, the number of pages is greater than the main volume.
Listening Audio Card

This is the listening audio for this collection.(Note: This is not a reference recording.)
