Well, spring.
I went on a 'journey to find cherry blossoms'.

My destination was Aizu, Fukushima.
But you know, what was blooming was...not cherry blossoms, but plum blossoms.

I was a little disappointed.
I also visited Tsuruga Castle, but the cherry blossom festival was still in preparation, and the flowers were still asleep.

But, it's strange.
For some reason, I was moved by the purity and stillness of the plum blossoms.

I used to think that 'full-bloom cherry blossoms' were the only correct answer for spring, but
I realized that the time when they 'haven't bloomed yet' is actually also a part of spring.

There are springs that don't bloom.
But that doesn't mean they 'won't bloom'; it just meant they were 'before blooming'.

“It's not yet... but I can believe that they will bloom soon”
