That super exciting project “A tanka from a song” has graduated from being a project starting this time.
Each of us has decided to enjoy “A tanka from a song” in our own way.

So, I've decided to do “A tanka from a song” in my own way too!

Last time, I composed a tanka from Showa era graduation songs.

This time, since it's from spring songs to tanka, I composed tanka using nostalgic spring songs.
To everyone of the same generation, please prepare to be shocked and shaken by laughter this time too! 🤣

🍓 I Wanted to Talk to You - Yoko Minamino

The reason I couldn't chase after seeing him was my messy hair,
I love you, I think from afar

It's Nanno. Come to think of it, back in the day, she had a radio show called “Nanno-kore-shiki (Nothing to Nanno)”. I don't think I ever listened to the radio, though 💦
She's just nothing but cute.
And yet, she suddenly becomes the second-generation Sukeban Deka, Saki Asamiya, which is a surprise. She says “I won't forgive you guys!” and it's the Legend of the Girl in the Iron Mask (lol) ← Tokizawa-san, it's Akie Yoshizawa's turn! Weapon madness lol

Now, about this Nanno song. It's a very cute song.
She sees the guy she likes and wants to chase after him to talk to him, but her hair is sticking up so she can't go (´Д⊂ｸﾞｽﾝ).
She's such a devoted girl who wants to look pretty for him, but he doesn't notice her feelings, and it turns out he has a girlfriend with a ponytail.
Somehow, you can't really be aggressive when you're in high school, can you? That's why I find these cute days nostalgic. I myself am not the type to be aggressive even as an adult. (>_<) Really, probably, maybe, surely lol

🍓 Boogie-Ugi I LOVE YOU - Toshihiko Tahara

Love is all about getting carried away with the boogie-ugi

It's Toshi-chan, Toshi-chan!
When I was looking for spring songs, this song was also included in the spring song category.
Toshi-chan has cool songs, but he also has some ??? songs, doesn't he? This song is, if anything, more on the ??? side.

Toshi-chan still sings live and dances, so I think he had a really high potential.

Does anyone remember a show called “Tanokin Zenryoku Toukyuu” from back in the day? There was a segment where cream would fly out of a bazooka. As a child, I was surprised that they would throw cream at idols.

I couldn't find the cream one, but there are several videos of Tanokin Zenryoku Toukyuu, and it's heart-warming!

🍓 WANDERERS - Yumi Matsutoya

As I wander into the veil of spring where the wind flows,
Is there no continuation to this fleeting dream?

I really like this Yuming song. The way the intro starts is so cool. I don't know much about music, though.
This song was a commercial song for the Mitsubishi Mirage, but the song itself is about a motorcycle, not a car.

It progresses from both a male and female perspective, but why did they drift apart when they seem to like each other? I wonder if it's comparing the fleeting nature of love to the fleeting nature of the time just as a spring night begins.

🍓 Kaze (Wind) - Kobukuro

Thinking of you amidst the dancing flowers, my heart yearns
Searching for the light, a whirlwind blows

I love this early Kobukuro song.
I almost always cry when I listen to it.
The music is great, but the lyrics are wonderful. They bring images to mind.
I'll stop talking about it because I'm about to cry.
Personally, if it's a spring song by Kobukuro, I prefer 'Kaze' over 'Sakura'.

🍓 Shigatsu no Ame (April Rain) - DREAMS COME TRUE

Praying for the happiness of you whom I can no longer meet
Standing alone, struck by the April rain

This is a song from their fourth album called MILLION KISSES.
I have loved this song since back then.
The music also feels like a fleeting spring rain. And above all, the lyrics are great.
I really, truly love it.
