[Weekly Short-Short Note] A Husband Is Best When He's Healthy and Away: The Kidnapping of Hikoboshi

"Our meeting this year is almost over. I've had a great idea."

Orihime says to Hikoboshi, looking up at him.

"What kind of idea?"
"Hiko-chan, let's pretend you've been kidnapped and go somewhere together! Wouldn't it be nice to live on the moon?"

Without waiting for Hikoboshi to reply, Orihime quickly started packing and arranged for an unlicensed spaceship. Just in case, she sent an anonymous letter to Hikoboshi's house stating that he had been kidnapped.

The resort hotel on the moon consisted of individual cottages, and the interior was luxurious. While sipping their welcome drinks, both Orihime and Hikoboshi were excited about the new life that was about to begin.

However, such a fun life did not last long.

Since they couldn't stay in the hotel forever, they moved to a cheap one-story house, but Hikoboshi was just lazy and wouldn't work at all. While weaving, Orihime scolded him.

"Hiko-chan! You need to work a little! Don't just sit there eating for free!"

Scratching his bottom, Hikoboshi replied annoyedly,
"It's fine since you're working, Ori-chan. Living happily is what matters most."
he said.

Orihime thought, (That's right. Hikoboshi hates working and is always slacking off, which is why we were kept apart. Damn it, I don't need a husband like this anymore! I'll kick him out.)

The next morning, she used their last bit of money to arrange an unlicensed spaceship and threw Hikoboshi inside without giving him a chance to argue.

As she watched the spaceship depart, Orihime waved with a bright smile.

"No more kidnapping! See you next year, Hiko-chan. Ah, 'a husband is best when he's healthy and away' really is a golden rule, lol."

I was thinking about what to write for this theme, and I suddenly remembered this!

I laughed so hard at this commercial. It brings back memories, lol.
