AI vs Palm Reader⁉️
Hello (or Good evening)❗
This is Happy Maker Miyabi.
I am here to support you in making your future life even richer through palmistry❗
✋The rainy season has ended❗
The rainy season in the Kanto region ended the other day. It is said to have been about two-thirds shorter than an average year. As someone living in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, I honestly felt, "Wait, did we even have a rainy season❓"
By the way, why is the rainy season read as "tsuyu" instead of "baiu" or "umeu"❓ In one dictionary, the entry for plum (ume) lists the Sino-Japanese reading as "bai" and the native Japanese reading as "ume," but it does not explain why it is read as "tsuyu."
The kanji for rainy season (梅雨) was brought to Japan from China during the Edo period, and "tsuyu" is a so-called ateji (phonetic equivalent). I recently finally got around to using ChatGPT, so I decided to ask it with high expectations.
✋What was ChatGPT's answer?
As a result... it didn't give me the clear answer I was looking for. Maybe I didn't ask the question correctly. (lol)
When I looked it up online, there were various theories as to why it came to be read as "tsuyu." The theory that it evolved from the archaic word "tsuyukeshi," which means "damp and wet with dew"—a theory not mentioned in ChatGPT's answer—felt the most convincing.
✋AI vs Palm Reader❗️❓️
I mentioned earlier that I finally got around to using ChatGPT, but until then, I had a negative image of AI, thinking it would steal jobs or that we would reach a singularity where AI surpasses human intelligence. In a sense, I might have even viewed it as an enemy...
But for some reason, I felt like trying out ChatGPT, so I asked it about the rainy season, and then a question fundamental to me❗: "Will palm readers become unnecessary due to the evolution of AI❓"
With a bit of nervousness (lol), the answer I got was,
"While there is a possibility that palmistry could be partially automated due to the evolution of AI, it does not mean that palm readers will become completely unnecessary.
~Omitted~
AI may be useful as a supplementary tool for palmistry, but it would be difficult for it to replace a palm reader. By having AI and human readers cooperate, it might be possible to provide higher-quality readings." Phew. (lol)
✋The difference between ChatGPT and a palm reader
So, what is the definitive difference between ChatGPT and a palm reader❓ It is that a human palm reader possesses:
・The passion to respond to your desire to know yourself
・Intuition that is not based on the data that AI uses as the basis for its answers
・Mutual feelings and empathy that continue during the reading and even after you have left
In other words, human emotions❗
Actually, I also asked it: "If ChatGPT and a human palm reader were to form the best tag team, how should they work together?" (lol)
The answer was...
ChatGPT could provide text-based support and information, while the palm reader provides actual readings and professional advice, which would offer a more fulfilling experience for the user❗
With that in mind, I have decided to put my negative feelings about AI aside and get along well with AI, including ChatGPT, as a good partner to respond to your worries and questions❗️
While being backed up by AI, I will continue to give my all in palm readings with passion, intuition, and empathy❗
Sincerely, Happy Maker Miyabi
