Hosting a "Relaxed and Fluffy Chat Session" (*^-^*) ~Chatting is Wonderful~ð
On October 2nd, my first chat session, the "First Relaxed and Fluffy Chat Session," concluded successfully (^_^)ïŒ
To everyone who participated,
to everyone who supported me,
thank you so much (^^âª
This time, I would like to write a reflection and share my thoughts on the "Chat Session."

ââPreparation Before the Eventââ
The announcement article was posted on September 8th, a survey was conducted, and the date was set for October 2nd.
Then, the detailed recruitment post was published on September 15th!!ðžðž
I consulted with Mr. Nakamori during our consultation sessions regarding the creation of the survey and advice leading up to the day.
Also, I made an effort to participate in various online meetings, such as other people's "chat sessions" and "book clubs," to learn about how organizers interact, shared images, and the atmosphere, and in a good way, I stole what I could...
I decided to use these as references for a "chat session" that is uniquely mine.
While participating, I was reminded once again that for "chat sessions" and "book clubs," it is important how safe and comfortable people feel participating.
I posted the recruitment article while thinking, "What if no one signs up?"ðŠðŠ
but 6 people signed up, and on the day of the event, we were able to hold it with 7 people including myself (*^-^*)
I sent information about the topics and the participants to the attendees via email and reminders about three times in advance.
Although the date was set for Saturday, October 2nd, that week was packed with various plans, so I made sure to keep Friday, the day before, free of any plans to take time to think things through and prepare.

<What I did the day before and on the morning of the event!>
1. Create images using Canva.
I created three images.
I created one for people to read while waiting before we start, one for requests, and one for the flow of the day.
I decided to have participants change their names (Name @ Prefecture) while waiting.
2. Consider chat themes
I had announced about three themes in advance, but I also reviewed those contents. (I made some changes to what I had previously announced.)
3. How to facilitate the chat
I thought about how to manage the speaking turns and came up with ideas like going by birth month, which is a fun way to decide the order on the spot.
4. Consider the closing
Since Chawan-san has a signature closing, I also thought of a closing style that feels a bit like a childcare worker.
†Creating a PowerPoint
Actually, I had never created a PowerPoint before, but I remembered that others used it when sharing images, so I searched for how to make one on the morning of the event and created it.
It was down to the wire, but I'm glad I made it (*^-^*)

<Content of this chat session>
When people signed up, I asked for themes they wanted to discuss, picked out ones that everyone could talk about, and announced them in a prior email.
â Self-introduction
On the day, I told them to include their hobbies and things they like, but
since I had told them in advance to include "what made you start note" during the self-introduction, everyone came prepared to talk about "what made you start note," "the appeal of note," and "good things about note."
So, I let them talk freely without worrying about the time.
I felt that the atmosphere among the participants deepened as they didn't just talk individually, but also asked each other questions.
â¡ Dreams, goals, who you want to be, etc.
Since everyone talked about the next theme, "note," during â , we talked about "dreams and goals" as planned for â¢.
This theme was very natural, and everyone spoke in their own way, so it was very livelyâš
It was a very fun time because we asked questions and expanded on each other's dreams, helping them growð
⢠Impressions
We each shared our impressions in a few words.
The conversation expanded to include dreams we want to achieve together on note in the future, and other fun things we could do.
⣠Closing
In the blink of an eye, these three topics took up 1 hour and 45 minutes, and after the final closing (Keiko's own style), we had no extension time, and were able to fully enjoy chatting for a total of 2 hours.
Introduction of participants ~ Thank you for joiningââ
(6 people participated!)
â Itsuwa-san
Itsuwa-san came 10 minutes before the start, and I was truly grateful to be able to ask her about things I didn't understand on Zoomâ
I am looking forward to Itsuwa-san holding a calligraphy class on note in the future(^_-)-â
The cat's participation was also cuteâš
âChawan-san
I attended Chawan-san's chat session, and my dreams expanded...ââ
I felt like you joined to support us.
Thank you for teaching us on the spot how participants can share their screensââ
I made good use of everything I learned<m(__)m>
Thank you very muchâ¬
âMamanosuke-san
You joined us despite your busy schedule.
You are not bad at talking at all; I was happy that you chatted with us so enjoyably.
Thank you for showing us the "gently glowing bird light" you purchased (lol)
Also, thank you, thank you for writing such a wonderful articleâââ(^_-)-â
ânoche-mochi-san
You livened up the atmosphere, were considerate so that participants could easily speak, and your way of supporting each participant's dreams taught me a lot.
It is thanks to noche-mochi-san that everyone felt comfortable speaking and opening upð
Thank you for suggesting the all-prefecture meeting and the Kumashina-san nationwide bicycle tour (lol)
âKumashina-san
You also participated when we held a chat session at the Note Marche, and you came to this second chat session as well.
This time, you even showed your face(^^)/.
And, I am looking forward to the realization of our dreams, including your stories about traveling by "bicycle" and the development into a nationwide tourð
âMakopoo-san
Even though you were in a situation where you weren't sure if you could attend due to errands or might have to leave early, you stayed until the end. Thank you for speaking so much~â¬
It seems like your next dreams have expanded through this chat session, so let's do something together from now on!!
I'm also happy that Makopoo-chan enjoyed it~â
Thank you(*^-^*)

The "Relaxed and Fluffy Chat Session"
will continue to be held irregularly.
It is this kind of "relaxed and fluffy" chat session.
I think it will be a fun time, so please join us next time too!!
For the next one, I am thinking of Friday, October 29th, from 7:30 PM, as previously announced.
I will write a recruitment article again, so if you can participate, please apply.
I hope to have a relaxed chat even if there is only one participant, so I am waiting for your applications.
Please look forward to the next article(*^-^*)
Thank you for reading again this time,
thank you very much <m(__)m>
