People who write "over 300 characters" are geniuses

I am currently participating in the
"66-Day Writing x Lining" project organized by Yasu-san.

This project is filled with excitement precisely because it is led by Yasu-san, a master of the writing world known to those in the know.

Participants are gathering one after another.

(As of March 19, 2024: 26 participants)

The purpose of the project mentioned above is
"To develop a writing habit, let's post every day for 66 days with our peers!"
It is a wonderful initiative.

I also agree with Yasu-san's vision, and although my contribution is small, I am participating in the project and posting articles as part of the "hype squad."

Now, the theme this time is
People who write "over 300 characters" are geniuses.

This is the project by Yasu-san that I introduced above.

Not only is there a requirement to post every day,

but there is also a rough limit set for the number of characters in the articles.
(It's not mandatory, though 😅)

That is
to write "over 300 characters."

This "over 300 characters"...

Don't you think it's an exquisite number??

Not too little, not too much.

For short posts on note, there is a limit of 140 characters.

That is just a little over double that, at
“over 300 characters” as a character count.

As expected, the masters of the writing world set their character counts differently.

✔ Is "over 300 characters"
actually difficult??

Yasu-san set "over 300 characters"
as a benchmark.

Rather, why
is it not a round number like
"500 characters" or "1,000 characters"?

I feel that a keyword is hidden
in this "300 characters".

To be blunt!

It separates beginners from intermediate users...

the "wall" itself.

It's truly like the Berlin Wall
that divided the East and the West.
(That's not a very good analogy 🤣)

When you think, "Right, let's write!"
there are some people who can
write "over 300 characters" with ease.

That is difficult for a beginner.

Because, while deciding on a theme is a given,
you have to figure out how to start,
what content you should convey,
and how you should wrap it up at the end,
all while starting to write without knowing these things.

At that point,
your fingers just freeze up completely.

When your mind is a blank slate,
your body also goes blank in sync.

If you haven't made it a habit, it's even worse;
your subconscious will fall into a state of confusion,
thinking, "Wait! What am I supposed to do?
I'm frozen, what now??"

In that regard, people who are
somewhat used to writing
clearly understand, "Yeah! It's fine if I start writing like this."

I believe this is truly
the mark of an intermediate writer who has moved past the beginner stage.

✔ If you keep writing,
you will get used to it

To those of you who are crying, "Waaah, then
I'll be a beginner forever!"
and feeling like you're adding insult to injury.

It's okay.

Just write, no matter what.

Keep on writing.

Because,
I have had the same experience.

It was a long time ago, but...
The first few months after I started writing,
were truly hell.😭😭

Even though the theme was set,
my hands would stop.

I remember just resting my fingers on the keyboard
and freezing for five minutes.

'Huh? Five minutes have already passed?'
I was surprised.

During those five minutes,
my thoughts were spinning around in my brain.

'Wait! I don't know how to start!!'
That's how it was.

Even so, I managed to keep writing,
and that is why I am here today.

By stacking up growth lines that didn't even reach 1mm,
I built a version of myself that can write reasonably well.

The article below
is my first post on note.

It's embarrassing(*ﾉωﾉ)

If I could,
it's a past I would want to erase.

But, I have intentionally left it there.

To return to my own starting point.

Because not forgetting your original intentions
is important.

Compared to the article above,
don't you think my articles now
have changed?

If people think "you haven't changed,"
it's because I haven't tried hard enough.

I still have
a long way to go ( ˙ω˙)و Good!

No, it's seriously amazing!!

I had a junior colleague who would freeze up
just trying to write a single sentence.

"Over 300 characters" is amazing.

It's genius.
