A story about realizing the importance of "drafts"
I have continued posting every day, and
alreadyreached "Day 530".
When you keep writing every day like this,
what becomes important is creating "story ideas."
To be honest, heart-pounding, exciting
grand adventures don't happen every day (;^_^A
If anything, 80 to 90 percent of it is just
repeating ordinary, unchanging days.
Of course, it is also important to find
small changes and cherish them.
Even so...
naturally, in order to keep writing,
I want to write impactful sentences.
When that happens, what is important is the
"drafts"that I jot downevery day.
Currently,
if I take a peek at my "drafts"...

I confirmed "55 articles."
Looking back at the past...

There are even "drafts" from February 2021.
These "drafts" are all things that are still in progress,
so to make them into readable articles, I am
gradually adding to and improving the text.
I am polishing them into content
that readers will enjoy.
And then, I wait for the right timing
to release them into the world.
✔ The meaning of keeping drafts

Even today, while creating a post,
I am wandering around while looking at my
"drafts"wondering, "What kind of article should I post?"
While looking at my "drafts",
and sometimes editing them,
I am waiting for inspiration
to strike.
After spending that time, your
"motivation" switch will naturally turn on.
Rather than convincing yourself that you "have to write,"
it's more productive to
unconsciously tap away at the keyboard
while looking at your draft,
wondering, "What should I write?"
Before you know it, the article that was just a "draft"
has turned into content you can share with your readers.
(In my own way, at least (´∀`*)>)
That is precisely why
I never underestimate the existence of a "draft,"
and I make an effort to save thingseven in "draft" state.
Human memory is quite vague, isn't it?
I experience this often myself—
I decide, "I'm going to do this!" right up until the last moment,
but if I suddenly switch to another task,
I completely forget about it (-_-;)>
"Huh? What was it
that I decided to do just a moment ago?"
It happens just like that (lol)
That is why I actively save
even the smallest ideas as "drafts."
Because it would be a waste if I forgot them.
Also, when I look at my drafts,
I think, "Wow, I've really
written this much so far,"
and I get a sense ofsatisfaction.
At the same time,
I feel a sense of
mission, thinking, "I must release these drafts into the world."
It makes me feel like I "have to do my best"
in order to validate the version of myself that wrote them in the past.
The existence of a "draft"
is surprisingly not something to be taken lightly, is it?
-Summary-
The importance of drafts
① Activating the motivation switch
② Memo for ideas
③ Sense of satisfaction and mission

✔ Try writing
from a "draft"

Every piece of writing starts from a draft,
in other words, it starts from an incomplete state.
If you suddenly try to
"aim for a solid, finished form,"
you will tense up.
In such cases, almost without exception,
your pen will stop midway.
The more you prepare yourself to write something better,
the less the words will come to you.
Instead,
"It's just a 'draft' anyway,
so let's write it in a relaxed way"
is more than enough.
Whatever you think of or feel right now,
please just write down those personal impressions
into sentences in a casual way.
After all, it is just a draft.
If you do that, before you know it,
you will have written a good piece.
In my experience,
the articles I started by seeking perfection
are the ones that remain as "drafts" (lol).
Because I sought perfection too much,
every single character felt like a final copy,
and I ended up getting stuck for words 😅
Looking only at the results,
the "draft" state written casually
turns into a better piece of writing.
It's a strange thing m(_ _ )m
If you also
feel like "I can't write anything,"
I recommend that you
start by "writing from a draft."
I would be happy if you could
use this as a reference.
Well then, until next time.
Goodbye.
