Creating "Sour Cherries🍒" with NotebookLM♬

The other day,
I read a wonderful article.

"NotebookLM" to
create a slide presentation based on the creative story "Sour Cherries🍒" planned by Urimo-san.

The level of perfection of this slide presentation is

a slide presentation with outstanding artistry,
as if it were created by a professional creator.

The layout, scene composition, and photos used
are truly realistic, and as you read through it,
you can really feel the sense of immersion.

And what's surprising is
not just the content created...

"Creation Process" is also surprisingly short.

According to Yoshiyoshi-san's explanation,
they only had to perform three steps
and wait about 5 minutes for the presentation to be completed🤔

With this level of perfection,
if a person were to make it, it shouldn't take less than 1 to 2 hours.

Even more so, if an amateur were to make it,
it might take a week.

And yet,
you can make it quickly in about 10 minutes.

It's truly surprising!!

The goal this time is to make a video withNotebookLM.

Strictly speaking, it's the idea of creating a video explanation using
NotebookLM based on the provided information.

Rather than creating a drama, it's more like
creating an explanatory video from a given theme.

So, first, I will pick out the information sources for the video creation.

I also referred to Yoshiyoshi-san and
used "Sour Cherries🍒" as the subject,
citing from past articles.

In the video,
although there are some mispronunciations of names,
the narration script and scene composition
were entirely left to the AI.

Everything is
a video created based on the source information.

Here is what you need
when creating a video with NotebookLM.

・A way to access NotebookLM
・Source information for video creation
　(Articles, websites, etc.)

Let's get right into
explaining the creation process.

1. Access NotebookLM

Access the URL below.

Once you have moved to the screen above,
click "Try NotebookLM".

On the account settings screen,
select the "Google account" you are using.

2. Create on the NotebookLM home screen.

Open the NotebookLM home screen.

Click "New Notebook".
Alternatively, click "+ New Notebook" in the top right.

The home screen
consists of three system screens.

1. Sources
A system screen for importing information sources you want to handle in NotebookLM.
Information sources (sources) support files, Google Drive,
websites (URLs), and text.

2. Chat
For the imported sources, you can chat with the AI to
adjust parts you want to revise or add information.

3. Studio
A system screen for outputting imported sources
into various formats.
Audio commentary, video commentary, mind maps,
reports, flashcards, etc.
Select based on the format you want to output.

By utilizing these three system screens,
you can change them into your preferred format.

Now, let's actually create it♬

On the home screen,
click "Add Source" in the top left.

Next, select the source you want to use.
Here, I will paste the text
using "Copied text".

Paste the text and
click [Insert].

Then, in the "Chat" section of the home screen,
an explanation based on the
copied text will be shared.

Next, I will create an explanatory video
based on the imported source.

From "Studio" on the left side
of the home screen, select "Video Overview".

Then, at the bottom,
"Generating video overview..." will be displayed.

Wait for approximately 10 to 20 minutes.

It has been
successfully created!!

This time,
it was created in about 15 minutes.

The created video is
made in "mp4 format".

When embedding it into note,
it cannot be embedded in mp4 format.

Therefore,
you must either embed it into note via YouTube,
or handle it through other social media.

*In this instance, I used YouTube.

note supports the following video sites.
