How Entering 'Writing Mode' Boosts Productivity
What is combat mode...
It is the combat state taken in robot anime
when facing an enemy.
If you were in a transport mode,
“defeating the enemy”would not be the situation,so you would have no choice but to run away.
To prepare for the opponent's attack.
To easily attack them as well.
Above all, to defeat the enemy,
taking on a combat mode
is a logical action.
(Don't be a killjoy and say,
“But what about surprise attacks!”)
If there is a “combat mode” for combat,
there is also a “writing mode” for writing.
“Writing mode” is
the mindset of saying, “I am going to write now!”
and turning your focus toward writing.
Also,
it means focusing on the writing itself,
“as immovable as a mountain.”
If you try to mock it by saying,
“What, that’s obvious,”
I will change all the pencils in your pencil case
to ballpoint pens starting tomorrow.
No, no, do not underestimate it.
Being conscious of “writing mode”
is very important.
The theme this time is,
how entering “writing mode” boosts productivity.
State of being able to write = writing mode
If you could just write whenever you were told,
“Go on, write!” you wouldn't have any trouble, would you?💦
Just like how you want to rebel against your parents' words...
Taking the initiative yourself
leads to better results
than being told to do so by others.
So then,
'What is writing mode?'
'How can I enter that mode?'
'About my own writing mode'
Please allow me to share
these three points with you all.
Well then, let's get started (^^♪

✔ Now then!
| Into Writing Mode

The act of 'writing text'
varies from person to person.
Some people can write as if they are speaking,
while others struggle and write one character at a time.
However, if anything,
most people fall into the latter category.
After all,
when faced with a blank page in front of you,
it's natural to worry, 'What should I do...?'
That is where
'writing mode'becomes important.
First of all!!
Are you
in a state where you can write?
Are you calm,
and holding your pen?
'Putting yourself in a state where you can write'
= Switching to writing mode
No one to disturb you.
Within a limited amount of time,
a state where you can write
according to your own rules.
If you cannot put yourself
into that environment (mindset),
it is only natural that you cannot write!
People who can write often
have their own personal 'writing mode'.
✔ Mode-switching
switch

Once you are prepared,
all that is left is to flip the switch.
You smoothly transition from another activity,
thinking to yourself, 'I am switching to writing mode,'
as it flows through your brain.
Before you know it, you find yourself
in a state of typing away continuously.
Don't you think
that is wonderful?
Just like a light switch,
you simply toggle between OFF and ON.
If you could write
with such a simple method, it would be no problem at all, right?
'Tell me what that magic switch is!'
To you, who are lamenting that!
There is no need to think of it
as some grand magic switch.
Because it is so simple,
it is just so obvious that you haven't noticed it yet.
I will introduce three switches
for changing into writing mode.
1. Decide on a specific place and time
By setting a specific time and place every day
to focus on writing,
your brain will come to recognize
that time and place as 'writing time'.
For example,
going to a cafe at a set time every morning to write.
Writing in a quiet room at home, etc...
2. Decide on a pre-writing routine
If you have a consistent routine before writing,
you can prepare your brain for the task.
For example,
taking deep breaths or doing light stretches
brewing coffee
taking a short walk
doing some light reading
3. Use prompts or triggers
Setting up
prompts or triggers to enter writing mode is also effective.
For example,
listening to specific music,
or using triggers that stimulate the five senses, such as burning a specific aroma.
Also, decide on a simple prompt.
For instance, by telling yourself, 'Today I will write about X,'
you can focus your consciousness on a concrete goal.
I have shared three methods.
1. Decide on a specific place and time
2. Decide on a pre-writing routine
3. Use prompts and triggers
It is fine to try each one individually
before entering writing mode.
Combining multiple methods at once
before entering writing mode can also double the effectiveness.
The important thing is,
regardless of what actions or environment you place yourself in,
to always 'enter writing mode'.
'Doesn't writing mode just happen on its own!?'
you might feel that this is a contradiction, but...
it is not something anyone can just access from the start.
After all, it takes some time
to find your own personal switch
for changing into 'writing mode'.
Ask yourself, 'What suits me best?'
try these three methods consistently,
and find your own personal switch.
✔ My switch

As a habit supporter, here is my
writing mode switch!
1. Open note on my PC
2. Open the article creation screen
3. Place my fingers on the keyboard
Since I
continue to post on note every day,
there is never a day I don't open note.
I always
open note at some point during the day.
And I do it
on my desktop PC screen!
Then, as soon as I open it,
I quickly open the 'article creation screen'.
After that, I immediately
place my fingers on the keyboard.
That's all it takes.
You might think, 'No way!!', but
for me, the way to enter writing mode
is simply just that.
Of course,
I can't write a brilliant piece right away 😓
For now,
I warm up by clacking away on the keyboard,
and write while looking at my
brainstorming notes.
*Note
I think of ideas and themes
before entering writing mode.
Writing mode is strictly
'a state of focusing on writing'.
You'll understand once you try it, but
when you're clacking away at the keys,
you naturally keep writing sentences.
Of course,
sometimes the words don't come out right.
Even so, if you keep writing,
it ends up as a readable piece in the end.
Yeah!
It's a mystery (*´艸`*)
Feel free to give it a try~♬
* * * * *

This time, I shared with you
about writing mode.
Writing mode is
a state where you unconsciously focus on writing.
In other words, this
is habit itself.
Taking specific actions
in a specific environment
at a set time.
If you don't do so,
you start to feel 'uncomfortable' unconsciously...
To create a switch for that,
I dared to put it into words as 'writing mode'
and introduced it to you.
Actions toward a habit
= a switch to writing mode
Now, let me help you press the switch
to shift yourself
into writing mode.
Switch ON!!
Well then, until next time.
Goodbye.
