The Attitude of Delivering "Words" to the Person on the Other Side of the Screen

The other day,
I gained a great many insights.

The catalyst for this was
sending words that invited misunderstanding
due to my own shallow interpretation.

When I conveyed those words to the other person,
I failed to imagine,
"They might interpret this in this way."

It was a result born from
my immature comprehension.

Understanding the other person's words only on the surface.

A lack of reading comprehension that fails to grasp
what they truly want to convey.

It was a great learning experience,
reminding me that I still have many shortcomings.

And then...

Once again,
on the other side of the screen
there is a "person".

There is a living person
who reads my work.

There are fellow noters
who share their hearts with me.

I felt this strongly... very strongly.

A world that could never
be achieved alone.

In a place where anyone can express themselves with a rich imagination,
there are people living there.

There is the existence of people
who put their thoughts into words to convey them.

I was able to reaffirm that note
is a place where we are conscious of the connections
between people.

Although I am still immature,
I look forward to your continued support.

someone who will tell you

Through this experience, I felt
the gratitude for those who
make me realize things.

The existence of someone who will say,
"That's not right."

It is truly
helpful.

After all, when you become a mature adult,
it is more efficient and avoids conflict
to "not say" anything rather than to "say" it.

Precisely because one possesses common sense,
one chooses not to pry and intentionally says nothing.

It is also a secret to maintaining good human relationships.

However,

the person who was not told,
unfortunately, will not realize
their mistake at that time.

They will understand it as "that is the correct thing"
and will likely spend the rest of their time
with that incorrect interpretation.

That is, so to speak,
an "Emperor's New Clothes" state.

Unless someone teaches them
"that is not right,"
they will likely continue to embarrass themselves for the rest of their life.

Everyone
cares about themselves the most.

And, they have a tendency
to overestimate the evaluation of themselves.

That is precisely why
the existence of someone who will tell you
should be cherished.

They correct
my arrogant and lazy thinking.

There is no one
more delightful to have in your life.

You might only meet a few in a lifetime.

In all likelihood, you will probably only meet
a handful.

Whether you can be conscious of that encounter...

and that connection,
I feel, is up to me.
