Preparing for Virtual Man-Han Quan-Xi 2. Announcements and organizing my thoughts.
Long time no see.
The habits I thought had become second nature to me were mostly blown away during the summer break.
Man-Han Quan-Xi 2, I'm doing it.
With that said, I am currently preparing for an event called Virtual Man-Han Quan-Xi 2.
Please check this website for details about the project.
Here is information about last year.

Honestly, after agonizing over whether or not to do it, I decided to take the plunge, so since I'm doing it... I'm putting a lot of effort into the preparations.
Trying to do various things is, as expected, quite a lot of work, but I'm fired up because I want it to be a fun event.
Things I thought about so I wouldn't get lost
That said, I felt like I might get a bit lost, so I took some time to organize my thoughts again.
I felt this was very important, so for the first time in a while, I wrote this text using only my own head (without borrowing the opinions of others or the power of AI).

To be honest, last year's event was largely held on momentum and enthusiasm.
(It was held at a time when in-world payments, changes to monetization regulations, and avatar sales features were just being unlocked)
However, even amidst that, there were many realizations once we actually held it. I experienced how incredibly precious it is for people who transcend distance, age, and perhaps even race to gather in the same space and face the universally shared interest of "eating" at the same time, and I was surprised that it could hold such immense energy.
I still remember how strange and interesting it was on the day of the event, when around 3:00 PM snack time or dinner time, everyone would simultaneously leave their food avatars in the virtual space and step away, saying, 'I'm a bit hungry, so I'm going to go eat something.'
Thinking, 'Ah, everyone is eating on the other side of this screen right now, too.'
Dozens of creators had their own unique food-porn avatars lined up on the table, and visitors would pick them up to enjoy them or laugh together at the event's planned activities.
I think that time was irreplaceable and wonderful.
I think it was a warm space, like spending a moment having a pleasant meal together at a dining table.
I think I probably want to spend another day like that this year.
There were also many important moments during the process of creating the event.
People who came to show me the progress of the new avatars they were making
People who came to see how the venue construction was going while Mittsu was falling asleep during world testing
There were even people who bought VIP passes to support me without saying a word
The logos, thumbnails, website creation, gimmicks within the world, the event planning—I asked so many people for so many things, and all of them were sparkling, amazing things that I could never have created on my own.
I could only scramble to build the venue, but I remembered how I was always encouraged by those colorful events.
I suppose I'm hoping somewhere that I can experience that atmosphere leading up to the event again. This is something I can't do anything about on my own, and from my perspective, it happens completely at random, so if something happens this year, it's just a lucky gift.
I don't think I can recreate the sparkle of last year, and I don't know if I can upgrade or level up,
'Aren't you doing it this year?' 'Please do a second one'
Since there are people who say that, and I've decided to respond to them, I just have to do the best I can.
Now I just have to do what needs to be done
I've managed to organize my thoughts quite a bit,
so I feel like I just need to get to work. That's good.
