80 types of sake including 'Juyondai'! Enjoy 'Uwajima-style Sea Bream Rice' and Japanese kaiseki at 'Washoku Biyori Osaketo'
A 5-minute walk from the Konan Exit of Shinagawa Station. Opened in the autumn of 2025 on the 3rd floor of the Intercity S&R Building, 'Washoku Biyori Osaketo Shinagawa' is a restaurant where you can casually enjoy over 80 types of sake at all times, including rare brands like 'Juyondai' and 'Jikon', alongside authentic Japanese kaiseki prepared by top-tier chefs. It is well-equipped with private rooms, fitting for an area with high demand for business entertainment and dinners. The operating company also runs a sake brewery in Niigata and has recently garnered attention for winning the 'Bishu Award'. We introduce this 'sake oasis' in Shinagawa.
Over 80 types always available! A treasure trove of sake including 'Juyondai' and 'Jikon'

'Washoku Biyori Osaketo' has 10 locations in Tokyo, including Nihonbashi, Mitsukoshimae, Jimbocho, Kagurazaka, and Kyobashi. The concept for the 10th location, 'Washoku Biyori Osaketo Shinagawa', is 'a sake oasis where office workers can relax'.
The brand's greatest appeal is its lineup of sake carefully selected from all over the country. It includes popular brands such as 'Juyondai', 'Hiroki', 'Jikon', and 'Aramasa', as well as local sake that is difficult to obtain outside its home region, and seasonal limited editions like 'Risshun Asashibori' (precious raw sake pressed on the morning of the first day of spring) and 'Hiyaoroshi' (autumn-matured sake).

Furthermore, the Shinagawa branch is the first in the brand to feature the 'KEG DRAFT SAKE' server, which allows you to enjoy fresh, unpasteurized sake all year round.
It is a major attraction to be able to experience the incredibly fresh taste, which is usually only available at the brewery, in the heart of the city. The sake lineup changes at least once a month, so there is always a new discovery every time you visit.
Each location has qualified staff such as Kikisake-shi (sake sommeliers) on hand, providing precise pairing suggestions that make for a truly enjoyable time.
Authentic Japanese kaiseki that engages the five senses with the seasons and the signature 'Uwajima-style Sea Bream Rice' are the highlights.

*Dishes change according to the season *Sake ordered separately
The cuisine is authentic Japanese kaiseki that makes the most of seasonal ingredients. From appetizers, sashimi, grilled dishes, and warm dishes to the final course, every item is thoughtfully crafted to pair perfectly with sake. The meticulous work that brings out the umami of seasonal ingredients shines throughout.
Popular for business entertainment is the 7-course seasonal kaiseki 'Sake, People, Conversation' (6,500 yen). Since each dish is served individually, there is no need to share, making it highly recommended for business dinners.
For example, the five appetizers in March include cherry blossom tofu, shirasu and spring cabbage ohitashi, firefly squid pickled in wasabi, mountain yam pickled in miso, and grilled tsukune skewers.

The signature menu item, served at both lunch and dinner, is the 'Ehime/Uwajima-style Sea Bream Rice'. It is a style where fresh sea bream sashimi and seaweed are placed on top of rice, then enjoyed with a special egg yolk soy sauce (dashi soy sauce). It pairs exceptionally well with warm rice and is exquisite.
The lunch menu features items such as the 'Signature! Uwajima-style Sea Bream Rice Set' (1,800 yen) using 100% Koshihikari rice from Tokamachi, Niigata, and the 'Signature! "Sea Bream Rice" & Carefully Selected Wagyu "Iga Beef" Iron Plate Grill' (4,000 yen). These are also valued for business lunches and lunch meetings.

The price range is from 1,400 yen for lunch and from 8,000 yen for dinner. There is also a luxurious kaiseki course using A5-rank Iga beef, catering to diverse needs both day and night. Considering the quality and location, the price range is very reasonable.
Deep ties with a Niigata sake brewery, and the 'Bishu Award'-winning sake 'Takarayama'

The operating company of 'Washoku Biyori Osaketo' (fermata) not only manages restaurants but also operates the long-established 'Takarayama Brewery' (Nishikan-ku, Niigata City) in Niigata Prefecture. The restaurant also serves the brewery's signature 'Takarayama' series.
In January 2026, the brewery's sake gained attention after being certified as 'Fine Sake Chosen by Chefs' in the sake category of the 'Eating JAPAN Taste Award 2026,' which is judged by chefs. The two award-winning brands are served at each 'Washoku Biyori Osaketo' location.

・Chosen as a meal-pairing sake by French chefs: Awarded ★★ (2 stars)

What is noteworthy is that both have earned star ratings from both Italian and French chefs. Their perfection as meal-pairing sake for Western-style cuisine was highly evaluated.

By combining restaurant service experience with knowledge cultivated at the sake brewing site, 'Washoku Biyori Osaketo' embodies a philosophy of 'gourmet exploration' in both its cuisine and sake selection.
The Shinagawa branch accepts reservations for groups of up to 16 people, making it a place to keep in mind for the upcoming season of farewell and welcome parties and small-scale banquets.
