A Story of Sheltering from the Rain | Prose Poem
A sudden rain
Long ago
Under the roof of a bus stop
Under the eaves
There was a place to take shelter
Watching from that place
Those who suddenly start running
Those who take an umbrella out of their bag
A car pulls up to pick someone up
Sharing an umbrella
From the place of shelter
I harbor a series of dramas
Rain story
The one-man staff
Of the natural progression
The movements of the cast
The sound editing of the rain
The focus framed by hands
Burning the images into the heart
Creates a series of dramas
The rain stops
The one-season shoot ends
Someone left behind
The sound of a fluttering plastic umbrella
Also serves as narration
The preview for the next rain story is
The clicking sound
Of wet high heels

Rain story
It cannot begin without the rain
Every year during the rainy seasons of June and September
The continuation of the shoot begins
Inside someone's heart
Something catches my attention
When I look back, the plastic umbrella
That was left behind is gone
Dangling from the hand of a passerby
The beautifully folded plastic umbrella
As we pass each other
"Maybe we've co-starred before"
Excuse me
You were the lead, weren't you?
A plastic umbrella that can co-star with any lead rain
A double-lead plastic umbrella
You, who are most often left in the umbrella stand
Next production audition begins
( End )
Thank you for reading until the end.
