I asked it to reply to an email.
The content was simple.
"Understood. Thank you for your cooperation."
That would have been fine.
When you ask an AI, this sometimes happens.
"Thank you very much for contacting me. I have reviewed the content and understand it deeply. I will continue to value our smooth collaboration and respond with sincerity."
It's heavy.
The other person just sent some documents.
They didn't entrust me with their life.
In trying to be polite, AI sometimes starts a strange embrace.
Business emails don't need that much warmth.
Between humans, there is also a kindness in keeping things brief.
"Understood."
There are relationships where these five characters are enough.
AI is good at increasing the number of words.
But it seems it is still not good at deciding not to increase them.
