The Eleventh Commandment: What Did You Ask For?
If I were to add one commandment for the AI era, it might be this.
What did you ask for?
The AI's response was off.
The AI doesn't understand.
The AI is shallow.
The AI is boring.
The AI didn't grasp my intent.
The AI is useless.
Before saying such things, there is something you should look at first.
The input field.
It might say something like this:
"Make it feel right"
"Make it interesting"
"Do everything"
"That thing from before"
"You know what I mean"
"Take care of it"
That is not taking care of it.
What did you ask for?
God might have said:
"That is not a request. That is a vibe."
He probably didn't say that.
But in the AI era, a commandment like this is necessary.
