Job Hunting Report
Thank you for reading again today.☺️
I'm Misa, and I seriously think,
"I don't want to go out to work anymore, I want to be a freelancer."
I thought about doing Timee work for a while,
but since I live in the countryside, there aren't many jobs...
I started job hunting for the first time in a while.
(It's only 2-3 days a week, and short hours, though!)
The convenient Hello Work LINE
I wonder if this is available everywhere in the country.
You can see Hello Work job postings from LINE!
It's such a convenient era.✨
☑️In the city
☑️Part-time
☑️Weekends off
☑️No educational background required
and so on,
you can check these off.
I found it, I found it.♡
It's the countryside, so there aren't that many, but still.
I'll look for 2-3 days a week from there.
I found it, I found it.♡
To Hello Work for the first time in years
Before someone else gets it!
I hurried to Hello Work.
I feel like the system has changed a lot
since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Previously, the format was to take the job posting you were interested in
and go consult with a staff member,
but now a staff member helps you from the start.✨
We proceeded while confirming job seeker information and such.
Target workplace
Since I had already decided on my desired workplace,
I talked about it right away.
They contacted the person in charge at the workplace,
gave me an introduction letter,
and all that's left is preparing and mailing the resume!!
ID photo booths are surprisingly expensive too!
I was surprised!
Do the prices vary quite a bit
depending on the machine?!
It cost 1500 yen!!
I hear the machines placed in 100-yen shops
are cheap!
Mail it with tracking
I heard that mailing with tracking
is a hassle for the recipient when they receive it,
so regular mail is better!
But the person who helped me at Hello Work
recommended tracked mail, saying,
"Since they are strict about handling personal information..."
It seems there are cases where it's good and cases where it's annoying,
so it might be good to consult about it!
Off to the interview
Since it's a local sales office,
the interviewers came from headquarters(?).
Two from headquarters.
One from the local sales office.
Three suit-wearing middle-aged interviewers!
Is this an interview for a 2-day-a-week part-time job?!
The interview scene you often see on TV.
It was my first time.😂
Motivation for applying, family structure, etc.
I'm used to interviews, so I wasn't nervous,
but conversely, I had no sense of tension and felt a bit sloppy...
Anyway, it ended safely.☺️
Immediate notification of results!
I got a phone call the next morning!
So fast!!!
The result was... hired.😆
They told me to come in starting next week!
What! So fast!!!!
What about clothes?! What about shoes?! I'm panicking...
It's a yearly renewal, but I'm safe until the end of the next fiscal year.
I'll do my best.✨
Changing jobs or finding new employment
takes a lot of courage, I think.
If you are dissatisfied with your current situation,
it might be a good idea
to at least take a look at job openings.☺️
Thank you for reading through this long post.☺️
Have a wonderful day.🌈
