The program that aired on Bunka Hoso
from March 30, 2004 to March 31, 2009,
『Berryz Kobo Kiritsu! Rei! Chakuseki!』

We have decided to hold a reunion-style live broadcast
on Wednesday, February 4th.

This was the program I was entrusted to structure in my fourth year as a broadcast writer.
In its first year, Berryz Kobo was an 8-member group
consisting of two first-year middle schoolers, four sixth-graders, one fifth-grader, and one fourth-grader.

They were an unprecedented set of personalities.
While there had been radio shows featuring famous child actors on their own,
a radio program by a group where the majority of members were in their early teens—or not even teenagers yet—
had never existed before,
and likely will never be launched again.

It has been nearly 17 years since the program ended.
