Deepening Autumn
It has finally started to get properly cold.
Or rather, the cold has arrived with the intensity of an emergency brake. Perhaps the trees in the mountains are as confused as we are, as the autumn foliage seems to be arriving later than usual this year.
I'm going to head to the freezing Shikoku Mountains.

I take the first ferry, pass through Kanpu Mountain, and climb toward Kamegamori. With its small, light frame and just the right amount of torque, I can have a great time riding it by just revving it a bit and leaning into the turns.
The ridge road near the summit was at its peak for autumn colors. It feels a bit damp, but the weather is usually like this anyway.

I also did a quick hike up to Jinenji-no-kashira. The ground was muddy from the rain, and with some steep sections, it was quite dangerous. What a beautiful view...

The peak of Mt. Ishizuchi. It's steep and looks cool.

On the way, I happened to meet up with a follower and we rode back together. We found a terraced rice field with a cosmos garden and took some candid shots in town.

It was fun to ride and fun to take photos.
Fujifilm X-Pro3, Color-Skopar 18/2.8, Nokton 50/1.2
Bonus.

Most photos of autumn leaves end up like this.
Retouching isn't evil. I just don't do it.
