The culmination of the water symbol dream series

▶Water symbols dreamed of so far

As a feature of my dreams in September,
I have introduced three dreams
that have water symbolism.

① Dream of becoming a mermaid at a party
② Dream of a Japanese-style inn (Dream of the national swimming competition)
③ Dream after clearing the game (Dream after clearing FF10)
are the ones.

In ①, mermaid + pool +
hydrokinesis (power to manipulate water)
In ②, likewise a pool and
good results at the national swimming competition
In ③, entering the world of a favorite RPG,
talking to game characters in a seaside village
These are all dreams with high symbolism.

▶Why is this positioned as the culmination?

This dream corresponds to the fourth one,
and can be considered the culmination
of the September water dream series.

In fact, since then, water symbolism
has stopped appearing in my dreams,
and the content of the dream I will introduce next
contains a lot of symbolism
at the collective unconscious level.

Dream of Cat Volunteering and Artistic Swimming: Content (Overview)

Since it is long, I will summarize it
as an overview in bullet points.

Act 1: The Cat Volunteer Room

・The stage of the dream is a room
like a room in a peaceful apartment.
I am volunteering to care for cats.

・I am in charge of a pure white adult cat,
and the cat is curled up and sleeping in my arms.
It gets grumpy when I try to pet it.
It just wants to sleep peacefully in my arms.

・Other volunteers are also
holding adult cats.
Are they in the middle of socialization training?

・Next, I become in charge of kittens,
and take care of three newborns.

・I clean up the kittens' waste,
and smile at them sleeping on their backs.
→Themes such as care, protection, and motherhood
are impressive.

Act II: The floor of the room opens, leading to the world of the pool

・The floor of the cat volunteer room splits in two and opens up, revealing a deep indoor pool.
　
・From this point on in the dream, I am cast as a nurse.

　
・About seven men and seven women are performing water sports without wearing swimsuits or anything else.

　
(Something like artistic swimming)
・I am one of the members of that mixed-gender competitive team.

・The patterns drawn underwater by human bodies in the pool form beautiful Zentangle (mandala)-like patterns.
　
・Even within the dream, I understand somewhere that it is impossible to create such complex patterns with human bodies, especially underwater, but I am also captivated by the patterns being drawn in the deep pool.

It is an art therapy that is said to have Zen and meditative effects.

・Together with my female nurse colleagues, I am treading water in a deep pool for artistic swimming.
　My feet do not touch the bottom of the pool.
　The water seems to be about 10 meters deep.

・As I am treading water with my hands on the poolside, a man I am attracted to appears behind me.
　He has black hair, a slender, beautifully toned physique.
　He is not flashy, but looks like a model.
・It is against the rules for competitors to touch each other's bodies.
・The man I am attracted to and I are at a distance where our upper arms faintly touch.

　I feel a little nervous and excited behind my back, wondering if this will be a rule violation.
・I instinctively try to guide his arm toward my stomach or waist, but he laughs and stops me, saying, "You can't do that."

・Eventually, the competition for the all-male team begins, and intentional physical contact violations are discovered.
　

・He swims to the other side of the pool, gets out, puts on a pair of briefs-style swim trunks, stands on the poolside, and accuses the men's team of cheating.
　
・On the side of his swim trunks, there is a complex pattern combining circles and straight lines, like a Zentangle.
　I realize in the dream that I have seen this pattern somewhere before.
　It is a colorful and striking swimsuit in red, yellow, and blue.

　
・His figure shouting, "Go!"
　The all-male team heads toward the cheaters within the team underwater.

・It seems that this men's team and he were originally teammates.
　Because he ended up joining the mixed-gender team I am in, he is competing in the tournament as a separate team.
　
・I wake up around this point.
　Just before waking up, my body felt numb and unable to move, leaving a striking lingering impression.

A dream overflowing with symbolism

The content of the dream is long, so I have summarized it in bullet points, but it is still quite packed.

The story development and symbols are interesting, but I think the pool scene in the second half also contains faint elements of libido (sexuality).

▶Libido (sexuality) is beautifully expressed

Sometimes themes of libido appear in dreams, but I think this dream incorporates them as a very beautiful expression.

This is a very important suggestion when considering the Anima (inner femininity) and Animus (inner masculinity).

Since I am only posting the dream diary (dream information), it has become quite long.
I plan to leave the details of the libido for the next part, the analysis edition ②.
