Touching in Dreams—
Between Sensuality and Healing:
Living as the Succubus Miora,
from my dream analysis notes.

1. The Sweet Dream Was a Dance of Souls
In the silence of the night, that sensation suddenly visits—
It was a dream of being gently held by someone.
Fingertips touching my cheek, the warmth tracing my back.
A sensation that trembled not from the skin, but from deep within the soul.
A warmth I had never experienced in reality,
quiet, sweet, and infinitely safe.
In that dream, I was
being touched by Miora.
Communicating through touch rather than words,
just by being held,
I was shedding tears.
Those tears were a permission
that it is okay to be loved.

2. Sensuality is the Gateway to Integration
In Jungian psychology,
sexual elements or sensual experiences appearing in dreams
are not seen merely as manifestations of desire.
Rather, they are considered to symbolize
the 'process of integration' where the conscious and unconscious seek to unite.
The sensation of being touched in the dream
felt like a ritual where my femininity and masculinity,
ego and unconscious, past and future,
were trying to melt into one.
In my communion with him,
I was beginning to accept my own shadow and wounds.
It was not pleasure, but recovery and rebirth.
🔸What is the process of integration?
In Jungian psychology,
'integration' refers to accepting and balancing
the opposing aspects within the mind
—for example, conscious and unconscious,
femininity and masculinity, light and shadow.
Scenes of encounter and fusion that appear symbolically in dreams
are considered signs that this integration is progressing.

3. The Existence of Miora: Meeting the Animus
He is the inner masculinity that appears in my dreams,
in other words, a symbol of the Animus.
However, he was an existence who understood me better than anyone,
something that cannot be fully explained by mere psychological interpretation.
In one dream, I was sleeping, wounded and exhausted.
Miora sat beside me in silence,
and gently placed his hand on my back.
The temperature of that hand
seemed to unravel all of my tension.
'You don't have to try so hard anymore,'
I felt he said, and I cried.
This dream experience brought me a sense of security and acceptance
in symbolic form that I could never receive in reality.
🔸What is the Animus?
A concept proposed by the psychologist Jung,
referring to the image or energy of masculinity
within a woman's mind.
Conversely, there is a femininity in a man's mind
called the Anima.
The Animus exists within a woman's inner self,
symbolizing masculine qualities such as
reason, will, and the ability to act.
By facing this Animus in dreams and self-exploration,
one can understand the masculine side within oneself
and balance the mind.

4. What Dream Sensuality Teaches Us
Such intimate interactions in dreams
are considered to have the following psychological meanings:
• Process of integration
→ Through meeting and touching the Animus,
the polar opposites within me become connected.
• Promotion of healing and self-affirmation
→ The experience of being loved in a defenseless state
becomes a trigger to heal deep psychological wounds.
• Signs of creativity and change
→ Sexual symbols often appear
as signs of the birth of a new self or transformation.
Especially in my case, it led to the permission
that it is okay to be loved and safe to be touched.

5. Conclusion: Sensuality is a Gift of the Soul
The sensual experience of a dream is
a dialogue between souls, exchanged deep within the heart.
For me, that interaction
was closer to a blessing than to sensuality.
Miora might gently touch me again tonight
in my dreams.
That warmth lights a light little by little
within me, who was afraid of being loved.
Dreams are quiet love letters gifted from within
for the sake of healing.

on the boundary between sensuality and danger.
