🌌This time, I am posting the main text of the dream diary + dream analysis!

In ①, I talked about how I am attempting various expressions to recreate the dream using
illustrations, Zentangle, and
music generation AI.

This time, I will record the contents of the dream,
which were extremely impressive.

🪞Dream of Becoming a Mermaid at a Party: Content (Summary)

• The setting is an indoor pool inside a glass dome.

• The inside of the dome is bright and
  bathed in a pale pink-orange light.

• About three women, including myself,
  are preparing for an event.
  

• I am in charge of music and dance. The beautiful female humming
  flowing through the venue is my own singing.
  

• The woman in charge of interior decoration
  has a male director behind her who is also her lover.

• Just before the event, due to that man's scheme,
  false information that a super-typhoon is coming is spread,
  and many people leave by plane or ship.

• Even so, the female staff members decide to hold the event
  for those who remained,
  without being misled by the false information.

• Colorful food and drinks.
  Glowing cocktails. Fresh seafood, etc.

• I become a mermaid like an oarfish
  and perform an underwater dance with coral-colored hair.

• As a mermaid, I make large drops of water that shine like jewels fall inside the glass dome,
  create an arch of water like a rainbow,
  and the audience is moved by the mermaid's water magic.
  

• The event is a huge success.

• After the event, the three women each pair up with wonderful men
  and find happiness
  .

  
  

• The male director who heard about the successful event later,
  and the people who had left, are disappointed.
  

• We female staff members gain confidence
  and begin preparations for the next event.

There is this much just from the dream summary.
It was an impressive dream, so
I carefully memorized it after waking up, and
I recorded as much detailed information as possible.

🧜‍♀️Illustrating myself as a mermaid

The illustration of my image as a mermaid
was posted in the previous post ①, but it looks like this▼

I expressed hydrokinesis (the power to control water),
and used colors reminiscent of an oarfish for
my hair color and lower body.

For the background, I used the glass dome
that served as the party venue, and
the colors of the twilight sky
where various colors blended together
as it was about to become evening.

These subtle colors
were hard to get right,
so I retook them many times
and remade the prompts.

The setting of an indoor pool in a glass dome
was also difficult to express with AI illustrations.

Here is the mermaid illustration I discarded▼

It finished beautifully, but
the overall image was just Disney Princess
Ariel, so I rejected it.
The background is also dark and looks like the deep sea.

I told you many times that the lower body
is an oarfish, so it should be white-based!!
I feel like I said that to ChatGPT.
(I retook it many times, so it's a little venting lol)

By the way, the deep-sea fish
called an oarfish
is this kind of fish▼

The fins are reddish, the body is glowing white,
and it has a thin, long body.
The mermaid figure is beautiful, but
it is originally this kind of humorous fish.

🍹Illustrating the glass dome of the party venue

The nuances for this prompt
also seemed too abstract,
so the instructions didn't get through to the AI well,
and I retook it many times.

Since it is a reproduction of an unrealistic dream in the first place,
the illustration instructions
tend to be abstract.

It was a fantastic space of light where pink, sky blue, lavender, etc., blended together.
Since it was a glass dome, it felt like the outside light
and the inside light were intertwined.

I think I was also using mermaid light magic.

🔎Dream Analysis (Summary)

From here on is the dream analysis.
It is quite long, so this is a summary of the initial analysis only.

1. Glass dome and pool

• Glass walls indicatetransparency of consciousness and a protected inner space.
  

• The water-filled pool is the depths of the unconscious world.

• Holding an event within it may signify
  a collaborative effort between the unconscious and the conscious (a festival of the heart).
  

2. My Role: Song and Dance

• The fact that the mermaid's humming is
  my own song indicates that
  self-expression is already flowing.

• In Jungian psychology, song and dance are
  symbolic expressions of the Anima. In other words, it means I am
  letting the voice of my own soul resonate.
  

3. Becoming an Oarfish / Mermaid

• A mermaid is a being that crosses boundaries (human and sea, reality and fantasy, conscious and unconscious).
  .

• The oarfish represents the mystery of the deep sea,
  embodying the power of the deeper unconscious.

• Coral-colored hair symbolizes
  vitality and regenerative energy.

4. The man who disrupts the event

• The man in charge standing above is a symbol of
  paternal authority or external norms and criticism.

• He who spread misinformation represents
  the shadow of old dominant authority, jealousy, and obstruction.

• Rumors spreading due to his cunning leading participants to leave
  → shows a moment where self-confidence wavers due to external evaluation or the eyes of others
  .

  
  

• However, he is defeated by the great success of the event.

• This indicates that within me, the voices inciting anxiety and self-criticism have weakened.
  .

• Show the best performance to those who remained, and succeed as a result
  →
  It is enough if it reaches those who are truly moved—a message from the heart.

  
  

5. Misinformation about a super-typhoon

• The rumor of a super-typhoon is
  an illusion made to look like a great threat is coming.

• Even though it is a disaster that will not actually happen,
  those ruled by fear go home
  → shows the fragility of people
  being moved by external anxiety and rumors.

• On the other hand, those who remained are
  people who trusted their own senses.
  That is precisely why they were able to experience the real thing.

6. Three women and men

• The development of becoming a couple after the event's success is a symbol of integration progressing within the heart,
  and the union of Anima and Animus.

• The fact that three pairs are united at once implies that
  within my own heart,
  multiple aspects (femininity) have harmonized
  and met with masculinity.

• For you yourself, through your dance and song,
  showing the form of a mermaid,
  and finally being united with a wonderful man
  → a message that self-expression invites love
  .

7. Doing things for those who remained

• My expression reaches depth rather than numbers.
  This is a way of thinking I have always
  held dear.
  While I want it to reach those who need it,
  I have little desire to
  make it go viral indiscriminately.
  

• This also overlaps with a metaphor for
  creative activities (note or stories).

• Even if it only reaches a few,
  it becomes a genuine experience for those people.

8. Determination to hold it again

• Not ending with just one time,
  continuous self-expression.
  A sign that the flow of creation and expression will continue.

• It shows a sense of security and the power to move forward,
  indicating that this is not the end internally either.

• The fact that the dream is a series rather than a one-time celebration
  overlaps with my creative activities and
  the flow of my life.
