Review of the story so far (Summary)

So far,
I have been analyzing the dreams I had
between mid-September and mid-October
regarding water symbolism in chronological order.

① 9/17 Dream of becoming a mermaid at a party
② 9/26 Dream of a Japanese-style inn (Dream of a national swimming competition)
③ 10/3 Dream after clearing a game (Dream of FF10)
④ 10/5 Dream of cat volunteering and
　　　　artistic swimming
These are the four dreams.

I have provided careful analysis for each,
along with illustrations and music recreations,
interpreting them quite deeply.

To those who read them all,
thank you so much.

A final confirmation dream from the unconscious

The previous dream of cat volunteering and
artistic swimming
had such deep symbolism that,
while turning it into a note, I thought
this dream was the culmination
of the water symbolism dream series.

However, while writing the note for the artistic swimming dream,
there was a short dream that felt like
a final push + final confirmation from the unconscious.

I felt that only by including this
could I conclude the water symbolism dream series,
so I am writing this manuscript with deep emotion.

Below is the introduction from my dream diary (dream information).

Dream of an empty pool: Content (Full text)

A large competition pool
is filled with water.
The clear blue water unique to a pool.

There is no one in the pool.
I was alone.
It is quiet and refreshing,
and the light shines in brightly.

The water surface is calm and transparent,
and the way it gently ripples is beautiful.

In the dream, I thought, 'Oh! Last night I started
writing the manuscript for the dream of
cat volunteering and artistic swimming!'
and I woke up the moment I thought that.

I hadn't had a water dream for a while, but
I thought that a water symbol had
appeared in my dream for the first time in a while.

Even if I extract the full text, this is all there is.
The dream itself is very short and simple.

Even so, this dream is deeply symbolic
because it shows that the dream content that had been strongly present until now
is quietly converging.

Dream Analysis (Overview)

To make it easy to understand,
I will summarize it in bullet points.

• Physical factors: I wanted to go to the bathroom.
  Possibility of physiological reflection.

• Psychological factors: The water symbol came back into my consciousness
  due to my note drafting work, and reappeared as a dream.
  

• Symbolic meaning:

  • Competition pool = symbol of purpose, focus, and discipline

  • Empty = stillness and introspection,
    dialogue with the individual's inner water

  • Calm water surface = harmony between emotion and consciousness,
    completion of internal integration

  • Natural flow from the previous dream's dynamic integration
    (artistic swimming) →

• Relation to individuation: Drafting work affects the unconscious.
  Looking at the results of dream analysis over three months,
  not just a single dream, it can be considered a symbol of a psychological state
  where individuation has progressed.

Dream of transition from dynamic to static

The water symbol dreams ① to ④ listed at the beginning
had deep symbolism,
and the stories were dynamic,
giving me the feeling of
realistically experiencing an existing movie or story.

Especially ③ was a dream where I entered an RPG I actually played
and was attached to.

In other words, the unconscious layer was actively moving,
and as a result of me sincerely facing my dreams
for these three months,
I have become able to carefully receive information from my dreams.

Furthermore, I have analyzed the dreams
and even published them on note.
In other words, it can be said that I am facing
a single dream through three stages.

Therefore, I suspect that
the neural circuits of my brain and the reactions of my unconscious
have become smoother.
That is what I feel.

It feels like my unconscious is thinking,
'This person can properly pick up
my (the unconscious) voice,' lol,
and is giving me interesting messages
one after another.

individual case reports,
cases where the linkage between consciousness and the unconscious changes
as individuation progresses are sometimes confirmed.

The healing of silence

And the greatest feature of this dream is that
I am alone in the silence,
and it is acting as a healing force.

It is not the loneliness or sadness of being alone,
but rather a sense of satisfaction that I have accomplished something...
that I feel there.

That was the healing of silence I felt
in the dream of the empty pool.

In fact, in the dreams that followed this one,
water symbols no longer appeared,
and I believe the nature of the dreams
has clearly changed.

I plan to introduce the subsequent dreams
one by one as well.
