◾️Prologue: Starting from Memories of the Sea

The dream began somewhereinside a beautiful sea
that was transparent and blue-green.

I was as ifriding a glass-bottom boat,
or perhapsscuba diving or
snorkeling,
clearly seeing the scenery of the seabed.

Fish were swimming, and I think I even saw a creature like amanta ray
.

I have done scuba diving and
snorkeling in the past, and
thatsense of floating and immersion,
and the feeling of being in another world,
I felt even within the dream,was
very close to deep dreams, image work,or ecstatic trance experiences
.

This sea dream may have served as apreparatory stage for diving into the depths
.
From there, the scene
switches to a Mario dream.

🌊 Symbolism of the Sea (Jungian Psychology)
Collective Unconsciousandprimal memories of the mothersymbolism.

🐟 Symbolism of Fish
Fish are symbols of intuition, wisdom, and possibilities existing within the unconscious.
Deep sea = messages from the deep psyche, or
expressions of emotions not yet brought to consciousness.

🌊 Symbolism of the Manta Ray
The manta ray (ray) is a symbol of deep sensitivity, intuitive intelligence, and protective presence due to its quiet and graceful movements.
Because of its wide-spreading form,
it can also symbolize capacity and the size of one's heart.

◾️1. Real Super Mario: The Power of Femininity and the World of Athletics

I was in a space that felt like
an athletic facility inside a forest.
It wasn't just a reproduction, but
a real, participatory Super Mario world.

The game's structure had been reconstructed
as a dream world that I could experience with my physical senses.

The feel of the footing, the sense of floating when jumping, and even the 'tactile response' of the ? boxes floating in the air,
everything was felt by my body.

It was just like the
Jumanji series in the 🎬 movies.

🔹 This dream space had the following characteristics:

• An athletic facility-style space inside a large forest

• '? boxes' floated in the air, and players could jump up to get the contents (even though this should be impossible in reality, it was taken for granted in the dream)

• Power-up itemsincluded the flower (a flower that shoots fireballs)

• I was in a swimsuit, which symbolized the activation of my feminine self within the dream

• By taking the flower, I gained a feeling ofawakening to something

This area can also be read as access to a femininity that combines sensuality, creativity, and aggression

. In other words, I thought this dream was also related to the Dreams and Sensuality series I started on note the other day.

◾️2. Team: The companions who were with me

In this dream, there was a distinct team, not just me. There were three men, and everyone else besides me was male.

At first there were four men, but one dropped out early on, leaving three men. I will introduce the team below.

The photos and such that I have included along the way are a collection of free stock images and GPT-generated illustrations that represent each of them.

👓 Glasses Leader (Strategy)

He is walking a little to my front left and is in a
pose of pointing forward with his hand
to give instructions. →

A symbol of intellect and reason. The ability to judge the situation by looking at the whole picture without being too consumed by emotions. In the dream, he is depicted as a presence that silently conveys strategy by gesturing the direction to go next and the actions to take.

The logical and calm masculine (Logos) aspect within the dreaming subject (Miora)


. An inner intellectual advisor that maintains a realistic perspective and provides guidance for thought.

🦍 Donkey (Physical Ability / Trust)

The character Donkey Kong from the Mario world himself.

• He is on a ledge slightly ahead of the team and is already exploring the route.

• He is hanging from a rope with powerful movements, or even jumping is fine.

• Emphasize his muscular and reassuring back.

• To show that he is checking the team's safety, he is raising his hand toward us as a sign that 'it's safe to go'.

This presence is another form of the Animus (one of the internal masculine images) that I am already interacting with in dreams and image work. Donkey's back is very reliable, to the point where I naturally thought in the dream that I wanted to ride on it. I felt a bit of lucidity here.

The fact that he is already moving ahead means that he is intuitively reading the situation as deep knowledge and is voluntarily performing safety checks and securing the path. The feeling of wanting to ride on his back in the dream is

a symbol of security, trust, and physical reliability

🎭 The Clumsy Male Character (Humor / Relaxation)

→A presence that provides gaps and looseness to the tension and sense of mission in the dream
. He is depicted as a slightly goofy and lovable character, but that is an expression of the unconscious having humor and playfulness.

A healing element that suddenly relaxes me when I become too serious

. A support role that provides the margin we tend to overlook, allowing us to move forward with peace of mind.

He is slightly behind the screen and is doing humorous movements, such as
trying to jump under a ? box but failing to reach it
.

• An expression that exudes a comical sense of 'I'm trying my best, but I'm a little off.'

• An accent that softens the overall tension.

• A cute man with a slightly plump build and stubble.

👙 Me: Miora (Protagonist)

• Wearing a swimsuit and a hoodie for sun protection (which I own in reality), she is trying to move forward using her whole body as a participant in the game.

• In the dream, it was a floral swimsuit, but in the illustration, it has been arranged into a sporty style.

• Smiling or with a focused expression.A look that conveys the feeling of being present in the moment through movement.

• Overlapping with the dappled sunlight and the '?' box in the background, her presence as a symbol of gaining power and transformation shines through.

◾️3. Invincible Mode and Exploring the '?' Box

While moving with my team, I found a
glowing '?' box
in the distance.

It clearly contained a
star (an item that makes you invincible),
and we worked together as a team to go get it.

Once I actually grabbed it,
from that moment on,I felt like I had enteredinvincible mode.

▶️What is worth noting here is

• that my memory after grabbing the star is somewhat hazy (while other parts are remembered very vividly, this part is missing and I cannot recall it).

• that my consciousness expanded as if I had become a soul in an invincible state that had broken through reality.

• It may have been the lingering effect of a trance state, as if my self had expanded beyond the framework of consciousness, shedding even perception itself.

This could be interpreted as a
symbol of a self-transcendent defensive state
that can only be obtained within dreams or deep-layer image work.

I actually intended to put this all in one post, but
after transcribing the dream diary in detail,
and then carefully adding explanations of the symbols,
it ended up being enough for 2 or 3 posts💦

🌊Symbolic Interpretation: The Entrance to the Deep-Layer Realm Indicated by the Sea Dream

In the dream, I saw ablue-green transparent sea.
Like a glass-bottom boat,
or snorkeling/scuba diving,
I was experiencingthe other world spreading out beneath that quiet surface.

What this dream indicates is the

realm of the deep-layer consciousness,which is difficult to access with everyday consciousness.

In Jungian psychology, the sea is also considered a symbol of the
collective unconsciousand
the primordial memory of the mother.

The fact that I was peering into it
could be a sign that my consciousness istrying to touch memories and wisdom at a level beyond the individual

.

The fish swimming there are metaphors for
uninterpreted emotions, memories, and possibilities
within the depths.

In Jungian terms, fish are also
symbolic beings dwelling in the depths of the soul,
and are linked to intuition and premonitions.

And themanta raythat was in the dream
was like a mysterious shadow
dancing leisurely through the water.

Its figure wasgraceful and powerful,
like a being quietly gliding
through the truths of the depths.

In shamanic interpretation, the manta ray is sometimes considered a
guide/spiritual surfer gliding through the depths,
and here it can also be read as an
anima-like being serving as a guide to the depths.

This sea dream is the prologue to the exploration
that will unfold as the dream Mario game,
and it may have created the initial wave

as a sign of my resolve to dive into the depths of the unconscious.

🐵Donkey was on the team: A heterogeneous animus = Guardian of instinct

First, as a premise:

• Mario World = Rules, adventure, game-like structure

• Other teams: Basically humans only = Logical cooperation, social roles

• Donkey is not on other teams

Within that,for some reason, only my team has Donkey Kong
.Moreover, I am aware of that question within the dream.
This is very symbolic, and I will examine it below from a Jungian psychological perspective.

🧠The nature of Donkey as an animus

Donkey = Wild, Primal, Muscular, Powerful
　　　　　・An existence that even seems sub-human

🧬Interpreted, it goes like this:

① Wild Animus (Primal Animus)

• Not through words, but a type that shows through sensation and action

• Defensive power, intuition, physical, danger-sensing instinct

• A power that supports you beyond the reach of your reason

→ Donkey is a symbol of an existence that unconsciously
　protects you

② Not in other teams = Your uniqueness

While other teams are only human,
only your team includes a strange form.

This means your inner world is:

• Not just personalities that are socially organized,

• but has a wide field that can coexist with animalistic, wild, and primal forces

③ "Lucid dream-like quality" is also a hint

This meta-perspective is exactly:

• the moment your consciousness is trying to decipher the expression of the unconscious

• → This is a sign that in the dream, a dialogue with the unconscious has begun

That questioning itself represents
Miora's current maturity and
the deepening of self-understanding.

Attribute meaning power and
physical ability to protect oneself from crisis,
powerful action-oriented wildness/instinct is
the embodiment of an unspoken power within Miora.

The psychological maturity where instinct and
humanity coexist naturally within the team
appears as a sense of lucid dreaming.

It is the beginning of a conscious bridge to the unconscious.
Donkey can be called an animus that protects with its fists.

🌊【Prequel】 = "Seaside School Arc" → Companionship, Liberation, Recovery of Innocence

It appeared in the first half of the dream (the part I started recording but fell asleep during):

• A seaside school-style ocean scene

• An image of spending time freely with close friends

• The swimsuit is an 'orange + floral' one I actually own, so it has realism

This part represents:

🧩 What does it mean that the swimsuit was carried over?

In dreams, it is quite common to
carry over costumes or items.
This swimsuit is an example of that, and can be interpreted as follows:

Moreover, in the Super Mario dream, I was also wearing
a sun-protection hoodie so:

• I also know how to protect myself (= defense) properly

• But, since it was a continuation from the ocean, the relaxed mode was still ongoing

🌀 What it means when you can't remember the whole dream

When you feel that a dream is too long to remember, it is:

• proof that a major internal event occurred in the depths of the heart

• A sign that the unconscious worked properly, to the extent that it didn't need to bring everything into consciousness

☁️How to see the continuation of a dream

The parts you couldn't fully remember
might be the type of dream
where you see the continuation if you go back to sleep.

Therefore,if you go to sleep tonight intending to return
to that scene (the forest or the sea),
you might be able to see the sequel.
Using image work is also a good method.
