Beyond Speaking Correctly: The Power of Communicating to Move Hearts in Chinese

A new course,“Developing the Power to Communicate in Chinese,” has begun!

Thursday classes and Saturday classes!
Both are held in the evening! We are currently learning in a fun environment.

The goal of this course, regardless of level, is
“to speak a lot of Chinese in your own words.”

Start with what you want to say, explore expressions, words, and phrases, use them, and communicate.
That is the shortest path.

We decide on a theme each time and give a presentation in Chinese.
Starting with self-introductions, then things you like, things you are good at, and things you value.

And little by little,
moving toward your true feelings...

Take what you want to convey, turn it into Chinese, and present it!

It is not just about presentations.
Asking questions on the spot and answering others' questions instantly.
“Chinese proficiency for real-time interaction” is also being cultivated.

With each session of the course,

“I didn't know you liked that!”
“I didn't know you had that experience!”

Getting to know each other is also a fun part of this course.

And, if someone speaks passionately about what they love, and a classmate thinks,

“I'll check that out too!”
“I want to try that!”
“I'll look into that a bit!”

then that means the presenter's expressive power and enthusiasm have truly reached the other person.

Speaking Chinese correctly is, of course, important.

But what lies beyond that is
having your thoughts move someone else's heart just a little.

I want us all to enjoy honing that 'power of communication' together.

Already, in the group exclusively for students, people have started sharing their own work and photos!

Interests and interactions are expanding not just during class time, but beyond it as well.

I am very much looking forward to seeing how you all grow from here.

The Chinese Interpretation Training Course
Basic Class (Fri: Evening) and Advanced Class (Fri, Sat, Sun: Morning)
are all opening!

Our native-speaking teacher will also be returning from a temporary trip to China
and joining us with renewed energy.
