Today is a relaxing day. Since we visited the Ephesus ruins yesterday, there is nothing left to see. We could have moved on today, but this hotel has Japanese novels that I want to read. I end up reading books that I probably wouldn't have read back in Japan. I feel like I've been in the hotel all day long...

In the morning, I went shopping by myself. I bought bread, jam, and juice and ate at the hotel. After that, I read books the whole time. I got a little tired, so I went out for a walk. I discovered a lokanta (restaurant) that looked delicious. I decided to eat there for dinner.

Since it was too early for dinner, I wandered around town again. K's hair has grown out, so we decided to get it cut. We found a cheap barber and decided to have it cut there... For the first time on this trip, he didn't get a buzz cut. But he ended up with a military style haircut. Well, it's nice and clean now, so that's fine.

Since I was hungry, I took some beer to the lokanta we saw earlier. It was my first stewed dish in a while, so I was happy. The rice was also delicious. They even gave us a complimentary salad.
