This is the floor plan of a certain house.

Can you tell what is abnormal about this house?

Starting with an opening like this, Uketsu's "The Strange House"

It seems to be popular in middle schools.
It was recommended to me by my child.

I borrowed it from my child and read it.

I took a close look at the floor plan written at the beginning.

It wasn't the special feature on strange houses I had imagined.
It seems to be a mystery novel? A suspense story.

Because of the distorted floor plan
of this strange house,
something happens,and it's a story about deducing what that is.

😏 "Let me find out what's strange about it."
I stared at the floor plan with my eyes narrowed.
😑 "I don't get it at all. Is the location of the child's room weird?"

Something is wrong,
something happens,
"This doesn't convey it well,"
I know that even as I write this.

However, the story progresses in this kind of way.
Hmm? What do you mean? It's like this.

Since the story progresses from a subjective point of view,
even while reading, you only know what the person themselves knows. For some reason, I remembered "Kamogawa Horumo"

It's just a work I like, that's all.

At first glance, it seems like a ridiculous delusion about a murder case.
A house for a hitman that uses children.

There's no way that's true.

I started reading it intending to time how long it took. When I finished, I looked at the clock and it was 8:59.

It's easy to read, so I recommend it even for those who don't usually read. Especially for those who like shows like 'Tales of the Unusual' or 'True Scary Stories'.
