Hello, good evening, I am Minimal Order.
When I encounter a song that features nothing but a soft, melancholic voice and a lofi guitar, I can't help but get drawn in. Today, I'd like to talk about one such track.

Artist Introduction

Snazzy is a music project helmed by Curran Van Waarde, based in Encinitas, California. It began about six years ago as a Lo-Fi music project, and has since expanded its sound into indie pop while gradually deepening its songwriting.

What's interesting is that he also operates under the moniker "Moment in Time." Under that name, he explores a more upbeat and danceable side of his music.

This track, "Out Of My Hands," is included on the EP "Why Not," released in February 2026, and features Nicolò Bertaglia as a credited co-writer.
While I haven't been able to confirm their detailed backgrounds, the texture of this song is born from their collaboration.

Description of the Song's Sound and Structure

A raspy voice and a guitar gently intertwine.
There is almost no other ornamentation. As the reverb spreads softly, there is an intimacy that makes you feel as though you can hear the very breath of the vocalist.

As a creator, I was impressed by the use of reverb here. When you want to make vocals stand out, you often feel the urge to add more layers, but this song creates a sense of space using only the guitar and the voice.

I cannot determine whether these vocals are sampled or recorded directly from the artist, but either way, there is no hesitation in how the texture is crafted. It has a fragile, introspective quality reminiscent of Holly Humberstone. It is heartbreaking, yet beautiful.

The title "Out Of My Hands" feels like it carries the nuance that one's emotions have slipped beyond one's own control.
