My favorite photo of the year: Day 1 of Fuji Rock 2025 #nofilter

It's the end of the year.
It's a season when both the city and our hearts can slow down just a little.

Today, I chose one photo from all the ones I took this year that left a lasting impression. It's the one I used for the thumbnail, taken at the Green Stage on the first day of Fuji Rock 2025.

Before the music even started.

There was a stillness in the air, yet it was a moment slowly filling with the anticipation of what was about to begin.

In this place, over the next three days, so many sounds and emotions would layer upon each other. Looking back at this photo, that's the feeling I get.

It's not just this photo; when I look at pictures I've taken myself, I remember not only the 'event' but also the 'atmosphere just before' and the 'lingering feeling just after'.
