Articles from Delusional Reviews [Project]
Hello, this is Mimuko, the person behind EATALK MASK.
Before you know it, it's already September. Autumn is coming, isn't it?
Lately, time has been passing by so, so quickly.
And speaking of autumn, it's the season for reading... so,
I came up with a little project,
and I thought I'd give it a try.
Do you ever read books that people recommend to you?
My mother was a bookworm and was always reading something. She would hand them to me, saying they were interesting.
The book she gave me when I was around fifth grade was shocking;
it was Junichi Yaoi's "Why Are There No Crow Carcasses?"
Is that really a book to give to a fifth-grade girl?
After that, the books my mother gave me were by authors like
Miri Yu, Eimi Yamada, Ramo Nakajima, and Yoshiharu Tsuge.
I still wonder if those were appropriate books to lend to a daughter,
but well, she's a free spirit.
It was from those memories that I suddenly came up with this project.
Books recommended by others are often things you wouldn't choose yourself, and I think they lead to new discoveries and encounters.
But just giving recommendations is boring, so
with a reverse perspective...
Let's write articles based on delusional reviews.
That's the project.
Let's write delusional reviews for imaginary articles.
I think it's more fun to write whatever you want.
Like essays you'd like to read, or the plot of a story you haven't been able to write yet.
For example...

It was a slightly mysterious and humorous story. It's about a housewife whose husband starts working remotely, but she starts hearing voices from her husband's room late at night as he works on a reversed schedule... and those voices show her mysterious dreams every night.

The cats are just so cute!!
It's full of cats! If you want to be healed, this is a must-read!!!
You write and post a delusional review article like that.
I'll also leave a template for those who aren't sure how to write one.

I felt ◯◯◯◯◯ from this work!
I like the ◯◯◯◯◯ part.
I'm collecting the posted delusional reviews in a magazine, so if there's one that catches your eye, try writing a story, poem, or essay based on it.
Works you've posted in the past are also fine if they fit the review.
Please post your work with the delusional review article attached.
Something like this. Do you get it?
Of course, you can just write the delusional review,
or just post a work that matches a review.
It's just a fun project.
I can't give you anything in particular, but I hope to be able to introduce some combinations that I've chosen based on my own judgment and prejudice.
