Super Important Nutrient: Protein
Protein, one of the three major nutrients
◇It is an essential food ingredient that should be included in every meal, every day!
From external body cells like skin, hair, and nails to
organs, blood vessels, blood, brain, and muscles,
everything is made of protein.
Furthermore,
hormones and immune enzymes,
as well as antibodies that protect us
from viruses and bacteria, are also made from protein.
Protein is responsible for almost all of the body's functions,
which is why our cells are constantly craving it.
This is even more true for growing children and those who play sports.
The more you incorporate it, the more satisfied your body will be,
promoting better performance,
so it's a loss if you don't eat it!
If you want to live a fun life, eat protein
might not be an exaggeration.
◇Chicken Ham
I keep "chicken ham" prepared in the refrigerator
so I can snack on it anytime.
I recently bought a new fermentation device,
so I am using it for low-temperature cooking.
What I purchased is here ↑↑.
I was torn until the very end between this and
Tanica Denki's Yogurtia,
but since I used a Japanese-made one last time,
this time I chose Kuvings.
The deciding factors were the capacity and size.
Also, the look.
It was a design I liked that fits in with my home kitchen.
I also wanted to use it for pre-prepared meat dishes,
so it's a perfect size that is large capacity but not too big.
There is just one thing that bothers me:
when I first started using it, the smell of the machine was noticeable.
Whether it was the smell of the material of the outer case,
there was a unique smell when I opened the lid,
and I was worried about using it,
but it didn't transfer to the food,
so I continue to use it.
↓↓ For reference,
I think it is a safe, stable, and wonderful
product that is well-thought-out.
The included recipes are also abundant and a great value.
Chicken tenderloin and breast meat tend to be dry, so
“how to cook it to be soft and easy to eat”
is the most important point for me.
Microwaving, boiling in a bag, low-temperature cookers...
I tried various things, but
for me,
the one I arrived at as the best and easiest
for cooking was a fermentation device.
◇How to make
Place chicken tenderloin marinated in homemade onion dashi salt koji
into the fermentation device and
just leave it alone.
63°C for 5 to 6 hours.
Let it cool down and put it in the refrigerator.
Since I get bored of the same flavor,
・Add curry powder
・Add herbs or spices
・Bonito or kelp dashi
・Chicken flavor
I eat it while changing the flavor like this.
It's fine as it is,
or you can shred it finely and put it in eggs for an omelet.
It's also delicious on top of a salad!
Plus, you can eat it without salad dressing,
which is all good!

However,
Here is one point of caution!
Before you consume a lot of protein,
there is something I want you to be careful about...
First,
it is necessary to "prepare your digestive system for smooth digestion."
Even if you suddenly eat a lot of protein,
if your digestion isn't working well,
or if you have stomach discomfort,
it won't be absorbed properly due to indigestion.
While preparing your digestive environment,
try to eat it every day at every meal as much as possible
to build a body that is resistant to stress!
Not just chicken,
but pork, beef, seafood, beans, eggs, etc.,
a well-balanced variety is best.
Chicken breast, chicken tenderloin, and salmon
have high protein content,
but for meat, I recommend cuts with little fat
such as tenderloin.
For those who exercise a lot and for children,
don't forget your staple foods like rice for energy and high-quality fats!
Let's all do our 'protein activities' (protein intake) together!
