A collection of notes that might cheer you up if you're feeling down
Someone wrote a really lovely note about me.
I tend to feel down when I'm low on iron, but by the time I finished reading Yuki Ishikawa's note, I felt as positive as if I'd taken months' worth of iron supplements all at once. It made me think, 'I was feeling down, but who cares about that anyway?'
So, today I'm going to share a few of my own notes that I think (or hope) will cheer you up a bit!!
To you who lacks confidence, I'll say it again and again: 'You are amazing'
This is a favorite of mine! I remember packing it with words that I would be happy to hear myself. Words that make me happy might be words that make others happy too.
Burn your 'likes' while you still 'like' them
When you're into fandom activities, you might feel like, 'Why am I spending money on this?', but this note helps you reframe that in a positive light.
'Shyness' and 'being nervous' weren't your fault
It's not because you're a failure, and it's not because you're a coward.
Perfectionism isn't perfect at all, not even a little bit
You should abandon perfectionism. Because perfection doesn't exist anyway!!!!
How I went from crashing and burning in job hunting thinking 'any white-collar company will do' to making a living as a writer
I want you to read this when you think, 'My life is ruined!!!!' It might make you think, 'Maybe things will work out.'
I'm seriously thinking about how we can stop everyone from sacrificing themselves for grueling work
I'm not denying the value of working for a company, but is there any need to sacrifice yourself to the point of damaging your health? There isn't, is there?
A story about when I truly felt like I was finished as a business person
Let's just accept it. Sometimes it's important to just let go and move on.
To go from 'It's impossible' to 'It'll probably work out'
Having an optimistic mindset is important, isn't it? Even if you don't know if you can do it, if you can think, 'It'll probably work out,' you'll be able to live more easily.
Precisely because you 'can't do it,' you can turn 'I can do this!' into your own strength
At the end of the day, there's no point in focusing on what you 'can't' do. You just have to find what you 'can' do and live by polishing that.
When you feel like your self-esteem is about to drop
There is nothing good about lowering your self-esteem (in my opinion), so the secret to living a relaxed life is knowing how to keep your self-esteem up.
I've selected some of my most-read notes, both old and new. If you have a favorite, let me know in the comments.
