Wandering in a sea of words.
"Que Sera, Sera - Whatever will be, will be -"
I love this phrase.
While I feel a sense of abandon,
I also feel the freedom of being set loose.
Also, with a meaning that seems to go in the opposite direction,
there is this famous saying as well↓
"If you try, you will succeed; if you don't try, you won't. Anything can be achieved if you try, and failure is simply the result of not trying."
It means that if you think you can do something and put in the effort,
you can definitely achieve it,
and if you think it's impossible and give up without trying,
you will absolutely never achieve it.
A few years ago, maybe when my eldest son was taking university entrance exams...
I remember telling him
something with a similar nuance.
(Even though I could see from the sidelines that he had the ability)
I remember talking to him to inspire him,
saying that if he put in more effort,
might he get a different result?
He immediately turned me down, saying he wasn't aiming that high (lol).
Well, I have that kind of experience,
and I do sympathize with the logic
that by taking action (trying), you can make it happen (succeed).
But,
there is a nuance that not succeeding is not allowed,
which I feel somewhere,
and depending on the time and situation, I find it difficult to deal with... (^_^;)
"Success isn't everything, but I will try"
I feel that perhaps that kind of balance
makes life easier to live.

When you are tired,
"Giving up is nourishment for the heart"
there is also this saying.
Even if there is something you regret,
if you keep regretting it forever,
it is mentally unhealthy, and you cannot move forward.
Letting go of the feelings that make you worry,
sometimes it is healthier to
just give up, and there are times when
you need that kind of emotional flexibility.
"Sometimes, just go with the flow"
As a human being, I hope to have that kind of capacity,
and I try to keep that in mind.

I've written various things, but
even though "If you try, you will succeed, and if you don't, you won't," "Giving up is nourishment for the heart," and in the end,
it's all "Que Sera, Sera" (≧▽≦)♡
That was the sea of words I felt while watching my son's job hunting, which I can do nothing about.
Thank you for reading until the end.
See you later.
