[Illustration & Cat Ear Project] I drew portraits of celebrities who I thought would look good with cat ears
Good morning. I'm Miku Mayutan, a writer. Lately, many people have been calling me Miku Mayu-tansan, and I'm starting to feel like a real celebrity.
Getting carried away, I'm thinking of approaching Sun-tory next time and saying,
"A drink called Miku Mayu-tansan would definitely sell. Huh? Who is Miku Mayutan, you ask?
I'm a popular writer who writes for Mynavi Woman. You don't know me? I write a ton of dream interpretation articles. If you search for dream interpretation, it's usually me. Why don't you make Miku Mayu-tansan?"
...I wonder if I should try pitching that.
↑I also write about various other things, like one-liners, how to have episode talks when you're stuck in conversation, what to bring as snacks for clubs, tarot cards, examples for morning assemblies, and festival stalls. I'm invincible, if I do say so myself! By the way, my fellow note user, Hibi-ki, has recently been calling me "Invincible Miku Mayutan" (lol).
If I reach out, it might actually go well. Even Coach Anzai from a certain Slam Dunk said it: if you give up, that's when the game is over.
If you think, "This project is definitely going to be interesting!", first, take action. Then, reach out. That's how new paths open up. Heaven's Door!
(*Sorry, I'm just joking)
Now, that was a long introduction. Let's move on to the main topic. The other day, in the comments section of an illustration introduction article, I received this comment from someone named "Nyankushii-san".
Actually, I am hosting something called the Nekomimi Village Festival. If you are interested in festival-like things, please try searching for "#NekomimiVillageFestival" 😸💞🌟
Could this be... Miku-san. Are you being invited to a festival??(This is how I, a former marriage-hunting refugee, have repeatedly misunderstood things and crashed and burned. Hello!)
I intended to hold a small music event, but somehow, I ended up being hoisted up as the organizer of a big festival!😹
Since various people are creating various works at the festival, please do walk around and take a look 😸💓🌟
Yeah, yeah. Sometimes when you start a project with a light heart, it ends up becoming bigger than you imagined. I think the power of note is great.
↑The afterword project I planned recently was a huge success. Actually, I attached this article to note's official Twitter and introduced it, saying, "Everyone, this is a masterpiece, so please read it!" (lol) ← I'm quite the salesman, if I do say so myself.
I'm not writing impressions right now, but if I find works with the tag, I'm adding them to a magazine as I go. I've added a few people. To those who met the deadline after 18:00 on 7/28, I'm sorry I couldn't write impressions. Thank you for adding the tag!)
By the way, here is the article by "Nyankushii-san" that I introduced.
They are singing as a derivative work of "Takabatake" written by PJ. They have a sweet, handsome voice, and I feel like they slightly resemble Hyde from L'Arc-en-Ciel.
Speaking of Hyde, he always looks so cool, doesn't he? I have the image that he puts a lot of effort into his beauty and music. I hope I can age as gracefully as he does.
Still, it's amazing that new creations can come from existing works! The possibilities of creativity are infinite.
That reminds me.
Actually, my friends compose music inspired by essays and novels, so please take a listen to those as well.
Every song is incredibly cool!
Now, back to Nyankushii-san. According to Nyankushii-san, there is something called the "Nekomimi Village Festival" being held on note. As someone who loves festivals, I'm jumping right in.
When I googled the tag, I found the guide for the Nekomimi Village Festival!
We are holding a summer festival event called "#NekomimiVillageFestival".
The main project runs from Saturday, July 6th to Monday, August 12th (Holiday). As you might guess from the event name, it is hosted by Nyankushii-san.
I, Misty, am also participating as part of the planning team.
This article is the official embedded article for participating in the project.
From now on, when participating in the project, please embed this article along with the hashtag "#NekomimiVillageFestival".
Also, if you are participating via audio or video articles, please report the URL of your participating article in the comments section of this article. Participation via tweet articles is not allowed.

The yukata and festival scene in the thumbnail image is lovely. My family went to Bon Odori three times this year. We went to see fireworks once. I had my daughter wear a jinbei.

I hope you all enjoy your summer events too.
When I checked other articles, it seemed like many people were participating with illustrations, so I'll join in with an illustration too (*I thought this meant creative works featuring characters wearing cat ears, but if the intent is different, I would appreciate it if you could let me know later. In that case, I will remove the tag!)
1. Riho Yoshioka
Riho Yoshioka, who appeared as a fox in the "Donbei" commercials. She is my husband's type.

It seems my husband also likes Marie Iitoyo and Erika Toda. My husband especially likes Erika Toda.
Actually, a senior from my former workplace once told me, "Miku, you're just like Erika Toda. He likes Erika Toda, you know. Men really do choose the type of woman they like, don't they?"
When I told my husband exactly what she said, he replied, "Do you want to try dying once?"Of course, don't worry. I'm not going to die.
By the way, that same senior told me this a few years ago.
"There's a girl who looks just like you on this drama. She's so fragile-looking. Men just want to protect her!"
I don't know her name, but she's a popular member of an idol group.
I bet she's really popular with guys! Anyway, you have to watch this drama. It's called 'Your Turn to Kill'.
...is what she said to me.
So, I watched the drama. Since she's the love interest of Ryusei Yokohama and is described as a simple, fragile-looking girl...
It's probably,Nanase Nishino, right?
Nanase Nishino doesn't look like me at all, no matter how you look at it. While watching the drama, I looked at my own face in the mirror. I desperately searched for any common ground between her and me. Like the position of our moles.
And,we don't look alike in the slightest.
The only things we have in common are that we're both female and, well, human. What's wrong with my senior's eyes? Is she wearing contact lenses that make me look 100,000% more beautiful?
I immediately told my husband, "My senior said I look like Nanase Nishino," and he burst out laughing, saying, "You're something else."
However, he muttered, "Well, I can see what she means, though." Since I'm persistent, I asked, "What do you mean? Where? I want to know what that 'what she means' is."
I was lightly ignored.
It's complicated when someone tells you that you look like someone you're so far removed from. I'm happy, but if I were to tell people, "I was told I look like her," they'd just laugh at me.
That has happened to me about 100 million times so far. One person told me I looked like Haruna Kojima, so when I told someone else, they said, "Huh? What are you talking about? You look like a praying mantis!"
It seems I might be someone who looks like an absolute beauty to a small percentage of people. Maybe it's the ultimate happiness if that person happens to be your partner.
My husband used to tell me I was cute, too. Lately, though, it's a no-go. He even went as far as to say, "I didn't choose you for your face, I chose you for your personality. My ex was beautiful," and then showed me a picture.
When I looked at the photo, she was absolutely stunning, like an actress.
She was incredibly beautiful, like Naoko Iijima in her younger days. I almost blurted out, 'Wait, are you being deceived?' but swallowed the words... Apparently, she quit because she was working a side job at a hostess club and was a smoker.
I mean, why are there still photos of your ex-girlfriend in the house?? Just the other day, while cleaning, I even found a love letter you wrote to your ex? I've never even received a love letter before??
Anyway, I couldn't help but say, 'You should have just married her.' According to my husband, marriage isn't about looks. He said there was a time he chose based on looks, but it caused him a lot of trouble.
I never expected that at this age, my husband would so bluntly deny my looks...! But I'm taking it positively, assuming he means my personality is good.
Sorry for going off on a tangent. I really hope you can guess who they actually look like soon.
[Others, people my senior said I look like, and memorable phrases]
・They say my eyes have a similar intensity to the main character from Lord of the Rings~.
・Miku-san, if you had been born 10 years earlier, couldn't you have joined AKB48? I think you could have danced on the edge of the formation.
The occasional rudeness is what I find funny (lol).
2. Gen Hoshino
Speaking of Riho Yoshioka, Gen Hoshino, who co-starred with her in a commercial, would also look good with cat ears.

According to information from my note friend Hibiki-san (via Twitter), 'Inochi no Shasou kara 2' will be released on 9/30. If you're interested, you should definitely get it.
↑ It looks like there will be a talk event too. If it were closer, I would have wanted to go.
I've forgotten the title, but I've read Gen Hoshino's essays a few times.
I believe it mentioned being hospitalized due to illness and stories about his wife (I think it was from before they were married).
To be told so straight that you are loved or that you are wonderful... I think any woman would be happy to hear that.
If you are thinking about approaching a woman, please read Gen Hoshino's essays. You will understand why he is popular.
3. Suzu Hirose
Since she appeared as a black cat in a commercial, I also drew Suzu Hirose.

The first time I learned of Suzu Hirose was in the movie Our Little Sister.
Although I liked Masami Nagasawa in that movie, I remember being shocked the moment I saw Suzu-chan, thinking, "Wow, what an incredibly cute girl."
Her older sister, Alice, played the heroine in a baseball drama (I forgot the title), and I thought she was a very cute girl too. I also like that her sister loves anime and manga.
4. Tomoya Nakamura

Since many of my note friends are fans of Tomoya Nakamura, I drew this regardless of the cat ear theme. It's basically just fan service (lol).
↑ Here are some articles related to Tomoya Nakamura. One is a recipe book, and the other is about Tomoya Nakamura making rolled omelets (*this is a delusional story).
↑ As for articles about Tomoya Nakamura, this note was incredibly interesting. It made me want to go see one of his stage plays. If he's that wonderful on TV, he must be incredibly cool in person. Also, it mentions Nanase Nishino too!
By the way, last time I drew an illustration of Tomoya Nakamura, my note friend Chikuwa-san saved it immediately.
Thinking, "I have to draw a second one for Chikuwa-san," I drew this one with a ballpoint pen.
If I keep drawing and talking about Tomoya Nakamura like this, maybe one day I'll be able to meet him. Dreaming of that day, I plan to keep drawing steadily.
I plan to draw various illustrations of Nakamura-san, so Mito-chan, please look forward to it!
[Postscript]
↑ Speaking of cats! Aoi-san's novel here was interesting, so I'll secretly promote it. It's a length that's easy to read quickly, so please take it with you on your commute!
