Both body and soul are made of what we take in
When I went to Yamagata the other day,
I bought some free-range eggs at a roadside station.
They were apparently eggs from chickens
raised on a diet of rice...
When I got home and cracked one open, I was a little surprised.
The color of the yolk was
not the orange I am used to seeing,
but a gentle cream color.
"Huh, that's unusual."
When I think about it,
the color of an egg yolk
must surely change depending on what the chicken eats.
That is what I thought.
Eggs are something I usually look at without much thought...
When I think about it again, it might be quite mysterious.
Because even the appearance
changes based on what is eaten.
When I thought about that, it suddenly occurred to me.
Perhaps humans are the same.
It is obvious, but
our bodies
are made from the food we eat every day.
What kind of things do we eat?
What kind of water do we drink?
That daily accumulation
becomes the body we have now.
But I realized that what we take in
is actually not just food.
We are also taking in energy (vibrations).
What kind of words do we listen to?
What kind of people do we spend time with?
What kind of scenery do you look at?
What kind of books do you read?
What kind of information do you encounter?
These things also enter us as invisible nourishment (energy).
Recently, AI has developed, and we live in an era where a lot of information is easily accessible.
Gaining knowledge is very important.
But precisely because of that, what is important is,
What do you believe in?
What do you turn your heart toward?
With what kind of feelings do you live your daily life?
Perhaps it is things like that.
An era where what you believe becomes the truth...
In the spiritual world, the words vibration and energy are often used.
I believe that those vibrations also change little by little based on what we take in every day.
If you are exposed to words of gratitude, gratitude grows.
If you are exposed to kindness, kindness grows.
If you are moved by beautiful scenery, that emotion enriches your heart.
Conversely, if you focus only on anxiety and anger, you will be influenced by that energy.
You will connect with that energy.
That is why recently, not only with the food I put into my body,
I want to be careful about what I let into my heart.
What to eat.
What to watch.
Who to spend time with.
What kind of words to use.
Each and every one of those things right now
is creating my future self.
The small, whitish egg
I bought in Yamagata
quietly taught me that.
Body, heart, and soul.
Everything about us
is created by what we take in every day.
