Hello, good evening, annyeonghaseyo!

I suddenly started talking about cosmetics in my first post, but I haven't introduced myself yet. Nice to meet you, I'm Miki-chan.

Self-introduction

I'm in my late 20s/early 30s, born in the Heisei era. My MBTI is INFP🧚
I'm a mother with a high school son and daughter. I'm a single mother.
I actually make bento lunches every day, for what it's worth. lol
I have two cute cats. I adore them.

Things I like arehere

• Korean cosmetics (skincare and makeup in general)

• Korean dramas (I like Choi Woo-shik)

• Korean food (though I can't actually eat that much spicy food, my lips hurt and I cry)

• Cats (cute cats save the world)

• Games (RPGs like FF, battle royales like PUBG)

• Music (Stray Kids, ASTRO, BIGBANG / J-Pop, HipHop, club music, etc.)

• Books (sometimes I suddenly want to read, I like romance novels lol)

• Nature (I live on a cosmic scale)

• Beauty treatments (I'd go all the time if I had the money)

• Animals (all living creatures are cute)

Why I write on note

Well, I realized it late, but maybe it's because I'm an INFP? I like writing lol (simple)
& I seem to have a collecting habit, and I can't rest unless I try things I'm curious about myself, so
I buy tons of skincare and cosmetics every month.
It's completely for my own satisfaction, but I decided to write on note to keep a record and hopefully be useful to someone else!!

How I became a cosmetics geek

Back in the day, there was a time when Nivea's blue tin and Hirudoid were popular, right? (If you're from the same generation, you'll know) Nowadays, I think heparinoid is common knowledge for everyone, but back then it had just started to become popular, and
I thought that as long as I used that, my moisturizing and skincare would be perfect and the best.

I was young, so I was fine even without special skincare, but I guess I was lacking nutrients from breastfeeding and childcare,

Before I knew it, I was like, aren't the pores on my cheeks super open?

That's when I realized.

Just moisturizing isn't enough if you don't have nutrients lol

From there, I got into American cosmetics for a while, bought high-concentration serums from overseas,
Kylie cosmetics in bulk, and department store cosmetics as well.

Before that, when I was a teenager, there was a Korean cosmetics boom once,
(like Tony Moly's rabbit lip balm and snail cream),
but I had forgotten about Korean cosmetics. Anyway,

My reunion with Korean cosmetics

happened suddenly.

After seeing it in the drama and getting curious, I bought it on Qoo10, and then I got curious about other Korean cosmetics,

From then on, I bought and tried almost every product that became a hot topic,
I was a perfect sucker for influencers

But after I encountered numbuzin's cleansing oil my life changed.

The blackheads on my nose completely disappeared. Joy, and surprise. It was a moving
reunion with Korean cosmetics. I'm still repeating this oil years later

But there are also products I've been using since before they went viral

My thoughts on cosmetics

I had.

Just because that person you admire uses it, it doesn't necessarily mean it will suit you, right?

I bought it because an influencer was using it, but I got acne

or

I bought it because that model was using it, but my skin broke out

or

That's right, it's not that the products are bad, but everyone has different skin types and different constitutions so
it's normal whether it suits you or not.

Just because someone recommends it doesn't mean it's good, right?, so thinking that, I realized I have no choice but to try things myself.

As a result of buying everything in sight, before I knew it, I became an otaku. The end.

I originally have weak skin, an allergic constitution, and I'm prone to acne.

So I have no choice but to believe in the things I think are good myself.

As I said myself, it doesn't necessarily mean it will suit everyone who reads this.
