Exhibiting at Bunkyo Literature Market Tokyo 39 / Uta-Kata [Na-47]
Time flies, and it has already been half a year since my first time exhibiting at Bunkyo Literature Market Tokyo 38.
And now,December 1st's Bunkyo Literature Market Tokyo 39 (Big Sight)is almost here!
This time, I will be exhibiting as part of a group.
Through a strange turn of events, I have ended up compiling a horror anthology together with fellow writers Toko Shimotsuki, and Nika Tahara (Tarahakani)さんとともに、ホラーアンソロジーを編むことになった次第でございます。
Toko Shimotsuki is a highly acclaimed writer who needs no introduction, having won last year's note Creative Award and made her solo debut with the horror novel "Kigan Joju" (Shinchosha Bunko).
Nika Tahara is a winner of the note x Web Bessatsu Bungeishunju Award for 2000-character horror, and also runs the popular note project "Weekly Short Short note."
The two of them, both so talented, plus me, have launched a group called "Uta-Kata."
Our glorious inaugural issue is "Uta-Kata vol.1 Floating"!!
We have collected strange and chilling stories themed around [Floating]. It contains 10 short horror stories we are very confident in.
By the way, this incredibly impactful cover design is by Tahara-san.

We have received contributions from a luxurious lineup of writers, including commercial authors, literary award and contest winners, active scriptwriters, and various popular figures in the short-short scene.
Fantasy horror, absurd horror, human-based horror, etc...
I hope you will experience various kinds of "floating."
I can't say too much as it would spoil the content, but personally, I think these stories are relatively easy to read even for those who aren't fans of horror.
Though, since horror tolerance varies from person to person, it's hard to say for sure.

Nice to meet you, I am Nika Tahara. Suddenly, among the novelists I've met on social media, there are many who have left a deep impression on me. For example, Toko Shimotsuki, who shows us a literary world with words and expressions as varied as a magician manipulating playing cards, and Mikazuki Ishihara, who smashes universal concepts with a hammer to show us scenery no one has ever seen before. Through a strange turn of events, I ended up creating a horror anthology with these two. And after reaching out to writers I love, a horror anthology with me added as a side dish was completed.
It is the best.
