#1 [I tried drawing] Cat
[I tried making/drawing]
My 8-year-old son loves making things and drawing. He doesn't go to school, but he's always creating something. This is a series where I (on my own initiative) introduce his works from his perspective.
POSCA markers arrived.

My little brother begged Dad to buy them for him.
We went camping as a family the other day, and we were given these little tags and Mom told us, "You can draw whatever you want," so my brother and I drew on them.
They said the campsite staff would display them somewhere later.
There were POSCA markers on the table, so I used those to draw.

Can you tell which one is mine and which one is my brother's?
My brother really liked those POSCA markers back then.
That's why he begged Dad for them.
Now that the POSCA markers he ordered have arrived, I tried drawing a picture right away.

Mom keeps getting all excited, saying, "That's great! That's so good!"
She's kind of annoying, isn't she?
My brother, despite begging so hard for them, just scribbled something quickly and ran off somewhere.
Honestly, that guy.

What is this?
He was saying something like, "It's my butt~" or whatever.
As for me, it's like this!

I love cats.
Do you know what that yellow thing next to the cat is?
It's a ball of yarn.
Cats chase those, right?
Mom asked me, "What's this?" about the dots on the left and the blue circle, but they aren't really anything in particular.
Grown-ups always ask, "What's this?" don't they?
I love cats so much, I really want to have one.
But Mom won't easily say yes.
Ugh.
Anyway, a long time ago, we went to a cat cafe, and there was one cat I liked the best.
This one!

Isn't it cute?
When I got home, I tried drawing it right away.

What do you think?
It's super cute, isn't it?
What kind of cat was it again?
My mom looked it up for me, but I forgot.
Ah, I really want to have a cat.
Well then, that's all for today.
Bye-bye.
