Yota and I spent a long time
inside our home.

Born from those days,
Yota's works are free, straightforward, and beyond imagination.

His colorful and vibrant works
expand the viewer's imagination and brighten their hearts.

Drawing. Creating. Producing.

For Yota,
that was an important way to connect with the world.

That world, which began in a small room,
spread as postcards,
and I am filled with gratitude
that it can be delivered in the form of a solo exhibition like this.

I want you to freely
enjoy Yota's world.
And I hope it will remain
in someone's daily life.

"Yota, would you like to hold a solo exhibition?"

That was the suggestion from Perma-sensei, who runs the place Yota attends.
Apparently, someone who received one of Yota's postcards, which were handed out to all participants at a lecture Perma-sensei held, made the proposal.

"I'll do it! I want to do it!"

I answered immediately.

"Yota, a solo exhibition is amazing, isn't it?"
"I'll definitely go."

The adults are buzzing.
As for the artist himself, he is perfectly cool.

A few days later, we were invited to tour the gallery where the solo exhibition would be held.

......Huh.

Isn't it huge?!

I lock eyes with my husband.
It seems we are thinking the same thing.

"Yota!!! Isn't this amazing? You're going to hold your solo exhibition here!"

Wait, he's just running around with his little brother!

"We can rent it to you for one week. Please feel free to use the time and space as you like.
If you'd like, we can also distribute flyers for promotion to the local community."
"Oh, really? By the way, how many copies would you be able to distribute?"
"Well, let's see... about 3,000 copies, I suppose. (Smiles)"

Th-th-th-three thousand copies?!?!

"I received one of Yota's strawberry postcards, and I was so moved by it."

She is the deputy director, likely younger than me.
I'm so happy.
The world Yota draws is definitely reaching someone's heart.
I'm about to cry.

A warm space where natural light pours down from the high ceiling.
There's no way we can't make the most of this.

It's my first solo exhibition, so...
What should I do, haha.
Well, I have no choice but to do it.
I have a month and a half left.

A solo exhibition has always been my dream, or rather, my goal.
I will definitely make it a wonderful exhibition.
