Six Years of Gratitude, and My Next Six Years.
Today is January 22nd.
It is the 6th anniversary of the debut of SixTONES, a group I have been supporting for several years.
They were on TV a lot from the morning, so I caught up on the recordings, and I made sure to watch the live stream at night. Before I knew it, I realized I had felt warm and fulfilled all day long.
Looking back, I haven't really been one to "support someone for a long time" in the past.
Even when I thought I liked someone, I would eventually drift away or my feelings would shift.
But it was different after I met SixTONES.
Before I knew it, I had been supporting the same group for six years. I find it a bit strange that I've been able to do that, but I also feel incredibly happy about it.
Watching them, I strongly feel the wonder of having companions.
Even going back to before their debut, each of the six of them has spent time working hard, being honest, and building things up earnestly.
I love them all as individuals because they are so charming, but the greatest appeal of SixTONES is definitely when the six of them are together.
Everyone is so lively and looks like they are having fun, which makes me feel warm inside just watching them.
It makes me think how wonderful it is to have companions who understand each other and can work hard together like that.
Watching them make such leaps and bounds over these six years, I suddenly wondered.
How will I change in the next six years?
I think it surely depends on my actions today and the small things I build up day by day.
While supporting them and receiving energy from them, I want to move forward at my own pace as well.
I am looking forward to SixTONES' future success, and
I want to look forward to my own next six years a little bit, too.
Today was an anniversary where I thought about things like that.
