It's Okay to Be Not Okay! Because You're the One Deciding You're Not Good Enough. Part 2 (2019.12.08)
While it seems that the number of female entrepreneurs is increasing and more women are gaining confidence and thriving, the reality is that many people still struggle with a lack of self-confidence.
I often think about what causes that difference.
Of course, there is the personality you are born with,
and there are likely things that have changed due to your environment.
However, I believe it comes down to whether or not you know how to release your feelings when things aren't going well, not just when they are going well.
People often say that the answer lies within yourself, but
there are many who say, 'I don't know what that is.'
Honestly, I don't know either.
It's just about how much mental space you can create to forgive yourself when you're not doing well, to not treat being 'not good enough' as something evil, and to turn your failures into stories.
Being 'not good enough' isn't such a bad thing; it's a valuable experience that you can talk about on the day you eventually succeed.
I don't think there is much charm in someone who has gone through life without any hardships.
Instead of deciding you're a failure and feeling down, it would be great if you could think of it as being a little interesting even when you're not doing well. Though, that requires a considerable amount of mental strength.
I am someone who has gone to the brink and come back, so I can't say anything too high and mighty, but it's about admitting when you're not doing well. Admitting when you can't do something. Not trying to be like someone else.
And, when you're tired, go to sleep. I think those kinds of things are what's important.
